SUGAR DOVES

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk and vanilla., In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Refrigerate, covered, 2 hours or until easy to handle., Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 3-in. bird-shaped cookie cutter. Place 1 in. apart on greased baking sheets. Bake 7-9 minutes or until set. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely., For frosting, in a small bowl, combine shortening, confectioners' sugar, milk, extracts and enough water to achieve spreading consistency., Frost cookies. Arrange walnuts over the bodies and almonds for feathers. Add chocolate chip eyes.

SUGAR DOVE COOKIES
Combine sugar cookies and Dove Chocolates and what a great combination! I have also used store bought sugar cookie mix for these and they are great too!

Steps:
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 4 minutes).
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, salt baking soda and cream of tartar.
- Add the flour mixture and beat until you have a smooth dough.
- Cover dough and Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Using a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop, roll dough into 1" balls.
- Roll each cookie dough ball in granulated sugare and place in a well greased mini muffin pan.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are light brown.
- Remove pan from oven and immediately press an unwrapped Dove Chocolate Miniature in the center of the cookie being cautious not to push through the bottom of the cookie.
- Cool completely before removing the cookies from the pan. You may have to place the pan in the refrigerator for a few minutes to get the cookies cooled enough.
LOW-CARB CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE BARS

- Preheat oven to 325°. In a small bowl, whisk flour and sugar substitute. In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter and vanilla until blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Pour into a greased 11x7-in. baking dish., For cheesecake layer, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar substitute until smooth. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Add egg; beat on low speed just until blended. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with white and chocolate baking chips. For crumble layer, mix almond flour and sugar substitute. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over chips., Bake until center is just set and edges are golden brown, 40-45 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours or overnight before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
