Steps:
- Cream butter and sugars together in a mixer. Add eggs and vanilla, making sure to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl. Add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix on low until everything is incorporated.Chill the dough in the refrigerate for 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Scoop out 2 tablespoon scoops of dough, and roll it into a ball. It should be about the size of a golf ball.Roll the ball of dough around in some M&Ms, making sure the M&Ms stick into the dough, and place the cookie on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place 7-9 cookies on a sheet since they will spread due to their size.Bake for 14-15 minutes until just golden around the edges. Remove from oven and let rest on the baking sheet. The middle might look a little under-baked but let them rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes to harden up and then they will be perfect!!

THE BEST M&M COOKIES
We took our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and increased the brown sugar to make these cookies extra moist and chewy. Then we super-sized them -- the better to get in more of our favorite candy-coated chocolates. Save some extra candy for topping each cookie before baking. The result, cookies that look just as good as they taste!

Steps:
- Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a large bowl.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a bowl with a mixer on medium-high speed until pale and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth, then beat in the vanilla. Reduce the mixer speed to low. Add the flour mixture and beat until combined. Reserve 1/4 cup of the chocolates, then stir in the remaining 1 3/4 cups of chocolates by hand. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dough and refrigerate until chilled through, about 1 hour.
- Arrange the racks in the upper and lower third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into 24 balls, each about 3 tablespoons (alternatively, use a #20 large cookie scoop). Place 6 dough balls on each of the prepared baking sheets; stud the top of each dough ball with some of the reserved chocolates. Bake 2 trays at a time until the cookies are golden around the edges but still soft in the middle, rotating the trays halfway through, 15 to 18 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool 10 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Repeat with the remaining dough and chocolates.
SUPER BOWL COOKIES
Everyone loves these at Super Bowl parties. A couple years ago I brought them to the Orlando Brewing Company's party and two enormous platters were completely finished. You can buy the colored M&M's at http://shop.mms.com or at M&M's World in Orlando, Las Vegas or New York. I make two batches, one for each team's colors. These could be considered "good" treats for people avoiding bad carbs since they have oatmeal instead of white flour, but "healthy" may be a stretch!

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients in a food processor or mixer, except for chocolate chips and M&M's which could get crushed; stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
- Drop by tablespoons on an ungreased cookie sheet (I use a scoop which makes it so easy); then press 4-6 M&M's on the top of each cookie.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until just starting to turn brown; cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to avoid breakage.

- Football Sugar Cookies. Decorated like mini-footballs, these adorable cookies are the perfect addition to your game day table. They’re crisp sugar cookies, shaped into an oblong, and dressed up with both chocolate and vanilla frosting.
- Kitchen Sink Cookies. Inspired by a Panera Bread recipe, these restaurant-worthy cookies are a guaranteed hit. They’re called kitchen sink cookies because you can throw almost anything into them.
- Football Stadium Sugar Cookies. Colorful and fun, these eye-catching cookies will get you noticed. They’re sugar cookies, artfully decorated with frosting and sprinkles to recreate a game day scene.
- Cookiedilla. Less like a cookie and more like a decadent dessert, the cookiedilla is as extreme as the name suggests. Prepare to eat a monstrous amount of chocolate chip cookie dough, marshmallow creme, and chocolate fudge sauce, all squished together in a cookie sandwich.
- Chocolate Chip Cookies. Nothing beats a classic chocolate chip cookie. These are the chunky kind. Which is much better in my book, because you get a more satisfying chocolate chip to cookie ratio.
- Oreo Cookie Ball Footballs. Easy but impressive, these Oreo-filled footballs are a dreamy team treat. Blend together Oreos and cream cheese, shape into footballs, and coat with chocolate.
- Football Cookie Cups. Sports-mad bakers will love these creative cups. They’re made with vanilla buttercream, candy melts, and almonds, all beautifully assembled to look just like the football field (complete with goal posts).
- Peanut Butter Cookies. You can’t go wrong with the classics, and these nutty cookies will please everyone at the party. Rich, buttery, and chewy, they’re gorgeously addictive with a caramel aftertaste that lingers long after the last bite.
- Football Whoopie Pies. Soft, doughy, with a creamy, gooey center – is there anything better than just-baked whoopie pies? Yes! Chocolate whoopie pies that are shaped like mini-footballs!
- Cowboy Cookies. No-one really knows where these cookies get their name. But I’m going to assume it’s because cowboys took them on the trail to give them the energy they needed for the hike.
