2-1/2 pounds chicken wings
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard wing tip section. Place in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Combine barbecue sauce, honey and soy sauce; pour over wings. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.

½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup packed brown sugar
½ tablespoon vegetable oil
½ teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 ½ pounds chicken wings

Steps:

  • In a 9x13 inch casserole, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, ginger, and garlic powder. Mix until brown sugar completely dissolves into the mixture. Place the chicken wings in the dish and turn them over until they are all well coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Turn the chicken again, after 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake chicken at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), covered, for 45 minutes. Turn the chicken wings, and spoon sauce from the bottom of the pan over the tops of the wings. Cook an additional 50 minutes, uncovered.

1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 small onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
16 chicken wings (about 3 pounds)

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the first eight ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until thickened. , Meanwhile, cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. Place wings in a well-greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. , Bake at 375° for 30 minutes, turning once. Brush with sauce. Bake 20-25 minutes longer, turning and basting once, or until chicken juices run clear. Serve with additional sauce if desired.

3 quarts vegetable oil for deep-frying
2 1/2 pounds chicken wings (about 12)
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2/3 cup apricot preserves
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce, or to taste

Steps:

  • In a 6-quart kettle heat oil over moderate heat until a deep-fat thermometer registers 375°F.
  • While oil is heating, cut off wing tips, reserving them for another use (such as chicken stock), and halve chicken wings at joint. In a saucepan simmer remaining ingredients, stirring, until glaze is slightly thickened, about 3 minutes, and keep warm over very low heat.
  • Preheat oven to 200°F.
  • Pat chicken wings dry. Working in batches of 8, fry chicken wings in oil until crisp and golden, about 7 minutes. Return oil to 375°F. between batches. With a slotted spoon transfer wings as fried to a rack set in a shallow baking pan and keep warm in oven.
  • In a large bowl toss chicken wings with glaze to coat.

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 chipotle peppers, minced
1 tablespoon minced ginger
3 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a large rimmed sheet tray with nonstick spray.

Steps:

  • Heat broiler.
  • Mix all ingredients except wings until blended. Reserve half the chili sauce mixture for serving as a dipping sauce.
  • Place wings in single layer on broiler pan sprayed with cooking spray. Broil, 10 inches from heat, 5 min. on each side.

4 medium garlic cloves, minced
3 lbs chicken wings, separated into 2 pieces, wing tips removed and discarded
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh pineapple
2 tablespoons sake or 2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon naturally sweetened pineapple juice
1 medium garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon cold water
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, for garnish

Steps:

  • For the chicken:.
  • Place brown sugar, soy sauce, sake or sherry, and garlic in a large resealable plastic bag and stir to combine.
  • Add chicken, seal (pressing out excess air), and turn the bag to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Place in the refrigerator and marinate, turning occasionally, for at least 2 hours or up to 12 hours.
  • Heat the broiler to high and arrange a rack in the middle of the oven. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set a wire rack over the foil.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off, and arrange in a single layer on the rack. (Try not to let the wings touch.) Discard the marinade.
  • Broil the chicken until the meat starts to pull away from the bones and the skin is a deep golden brown, bubbling, and crisped, about 12 minutes. 1 ½ cups Louisiana-style hot sauce
¾ cup butter
1 cup honey
1 pinch garlic salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill the chicken 8 to 12 minutes on each side, or until juices run clear. (You can deep fry or bake the chicken instead if you want to, but it is best when grilled.) Remove chicken to a large roasting pan.

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons honey

  • Combine the soysauce along with the next 5 ingredients through and including the garlic cloves in a bowl, and mix together.
  • Place the chicken in a large zip-loc bag, and add the soy sauce mixture to the bag.
  • Marinate in refridgerator for 1 hour.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove chicken from bag, and place marinade in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil, turndown heat and cook an additional 4 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chicken with salt, and place on a grill rack coated with cooking spray.
  • Baste with half of the sauce, and grill for 5 minutes.
  • Turn chicken over , and baste with remaining sauce, and grill for 5 minutes or until done.
