CHICK FIL A MAC AND CHEESE
Make creamy mac & cheese just like Chick-fil-A does at home!

Steps:
- Fill a large pot 2/3 full of water. Add 1 tablespoon of salt. When the water comes to a boil add the pasta. Cook to al dente. Drain the macaroni noodles
- In a medium-sized pot add heavy cream, American cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Romano cheese. Melt cheeses with heavy cream over medium heat. Stir frequently. Do not allow the cheese to scorch.
- Turn the oven on to broil, on high.
- Place cooked pasta into a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Pour melted cheeses over the pasta.
- Add shredded Colby Jack cheese to the top of the pasta. Place under broiler.
- Broil just until the cheese begins to brown.

An easy, fun copycat, this Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese Recipe is super easy, oh so tasty and taste just like what you would get from the restaurant.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni noodles and boil for 20 minutes, no that is not a typo, cook this pasta for 20 minutes.
- Drain the macaroni and set aside.
- Meanwhile, make the cheese sauce. In a large pot over medium heat melt your butter. Whisk in the flour, salt and paprika, stirring constantly.
- To that add your milk a little at a time, whisking it in completely before adding more.
- Once all the milk has been added, whisk for 1-2 minutes until the sauce is thick.
- In a small bowl place your egg yolk. Add a spoonful of the hot milk mixture to the egg yolk and immediately whisk together.
- Add the egg yolk mixture to the pot of the milk mixture and whisk in.
- Turn the heat down to low and begin to add your cheese.Tear the american cheese into pieces and add to the pot. Add in half of the cheddar and all of the italian blend.
- Stir to combine and melt the cheeses.
- When the cheese is all melted and smooth add in the noodles.Stir gently until everything is combined.
- Place the macaroni and cheese in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Top the macaroni and cheese with the other half of the cheddar cheese.
- Place under the broiler of your oven until just browned. Do not take your eyes off of it or it will burn!
- Once the cheese is browned remove from the oven and serve!

THE BEST CHICK-FIL-A MAC AND CHEESE RECIPE (COPYCAT)
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Bring a large pot water to a boil with salt.
- Boil noodles until al dente, drain and set aside (reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water in case you need to thin up the sauce)
- Melt butter in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour and mix continuously for about 4-5 minutes over low heat.
- Slowly pour in the cream and whole milk and stir the whole time until it starts to thicken over low heat.
- Mix in the combination of cheeses until the cheese starts to melt and become creamy and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If it becomes too thick, thin the sauce with a little bit of the reserved water.
- Mix in the macaroni noodles.
- Pour mixture into a large baking dish.
- Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cook for five minutes.
- After five minutes, cook on a low broil for two minutes.
- Remove from oven and mix together so crispy cheese on top is incorporated throughout the dish
