Toasty Dog Wedges Recipes

SPLIT HOT DOGS WITH BUTTER-TOASTED BUNS AND HOMEMADE TOPPINGS

Steps:

• For the honey mustard: Whisk together the mustard, honey and vinegar in a medium mixing bowl.
• For the relish: In a medium bowl, whisk together the crema and Sriracha. Gently stir in the avocado with a rubber spatula.
• For the slaw: Place the carrots, parsley, dill and cabbage in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, lemon juice, mustard and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper, and then add the dressing to the cabbage mixture. Toss to coat.
• For the hot dogs: Preheat a grill over medium heat.
• Halve the hot dogs lengthwise, making sure to not slice all the way through. Place the hot dogs cut-side down and grill until browned and slightly charred, about 4 minutes per side.
• Brush the melted butter on the inside of the buns. Grill the buns buttered-side down until lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
• Place the hot dogs in the toasted buns and serve with the honey mustard, relish and slaw.

SWEET POTATO WEDGES RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
• Thoroughly wash sweet potatoes. Slice in half, then into wedges.
• Toss wedges in olive oil and seasonings.
• Place on a baking sheet, skin side down.
• Bake 30-40 minutes.

POTATO WEDGES RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
• Thoroughly wash potatoes, cut in half, and slice into wedges.
• Toss wedges in olive oil and seasonings.
• Place on a baking sheet, skin side down.
• Bake 40-50 minutes.

HOMEMADE DOG FOOD

Steps:

• Place the water, ground turkey, rice, and rosemary into a large Dutch oven. Stir until the ground turkey is broken up and evenly distributed throughout the mixture; bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the frozen vegetables, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Refrigerate until using.

TOASTY DOGS

Steps:

• Top each slice of bread with a slice of cheese and a hotdog.
• Fold over, and secure each with a toothpick.
• Spread butter on the outside of the bread slices.
• Toast in toaster oven until golden brown.

CORN DOG-STYLE ONION WEDGES

Steps:

• Fill a large Dutch oven fitted with a deep-fry thermometer with 2 inches of oil and heat to 350 degrees F over medium heat. Line a baking sheet with paper towels.
• Whisk the cornmeal, flour, garlic powder, mustard powder, baking powder, cayenne pepper, 2 teaspoons salt and a generous amount of black pepper in a large bowl. Whisk in the milk, egg, 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon honey.
• Working in 3 to 4 batches, put the onions into the batter and use a spoon to submerge them completely so they are fully coated. Let any excess batter drip back into the bowl and transfer the onions to the oil with your hands or a fork.
• Fry, flipping halfway through, until the batter is deep golden brown and the onions soften, 4 to 5 minutes. Transfer with a slotted spoon to the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining onions, returning the oil to 350 degrees F between batches.
• Meanwhile, whisk together the ketchup, yellow mustard, hot sauce and remaining 1 tablespoon honey in a small bowl. Serve the onion wedges with the sauce.

PULL-A-PART PARMESAN WEDGES

Steps:

• Cut biscuits into 4 wedges. Place melted butter, parsley, and onion flakes in bottom of 9-inch pie pan. Wedge biscuits in pan and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

TOASTY APPLE CINNAMON BREAD

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400°. Arrange toast in a single layer in baking pan. Cream butter, sugar, and cinnamon, and spread on one side of toast. Cover toast completely with apple slices. Spread remaining butter mixture over apples. Bake 10 minutes. Put under broiler for a couple of minutes, just until sugar begins to brown. Serve hot.
