1 (7 ounce) package linguine
3 tablespoons flour
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon basil

Steps:

  • Cook linguine according to package directions.
  • While pasta is cooking, melt butter over low heat.
  • Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and basil until smooth.
  • Add milk, stirring to blend.
  • Bring mixture to a boil and stir constantly.
  • Mixture will thicken.
  • Remove from heat and add cheeses, stirring well until melted.
  • Add lemon juice to cheese mixture.
  • Place cheese mixture upon cooked and drained linguine and toss well to coat.

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Cook linguine according to package directions. , Meanwhile, in a skillet over low heat, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. 7 fluid ounces dry white wine
1/2 pint whipping cream
Tabasco sauce, to taste
3 1/2 ounces mature cheddar cheese, grated
3 1/2 ounces Stilton cheese, crumbled
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 large plum tomatoes, sliced

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 180°C.
  • Cook pasta according to packet until almost tender. Drain and wash in cold water.
  • In a pan combine the cream, wine and tabasco and gently heat.
  • Whisk in half the cheddar and stilton as well as the dried herbs. Stir until smooth.
  • Place the pasta in a greased oven proof dish and pour over the sauce. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes Remove foil and place tomatoes on top. Bake for another 10 minutes.

1 thick slice bacon
¼ cup butter
½ cup cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon ground white pepper

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for about 7 to 8 minutes or until al dente; drain. Remove from pot, cover and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, in a small skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Break up into small pieces and set aside.
  • In the pasta pot, melt butter over medium-low heat and add cream; heat thoroughly, but do not allow to boil. Combine cooked pasta with butter/cream mixture. 1 egg yolk

Steps:

  • Add the mozzarella to a bowl and microwave for 1-2 minutes, until melted.
  • Allow the mozzarella to cool for 30 seconds.
  • With a spatula, gently fold the egg yolk into the cheese.
  • Turn the mixture out onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough and press down with your hand until thin.
  • Remove the top piece of parchment and cut the dough into thin strips.
  • Place the "pasta" on a rack and refrigerate for four hours or overnight.
  • Place the "pasta" in boiling water for one minute.
  • Drain into a colander and run cool water over the pasta to prevent sticking.
  • Serve with your favorite sauce and toppings.

375g fusilli (pasta twists)
200ml dry white wine
300ml whipping cream
few drops Tabasco sauce
100g mature vegetarian cheddar , grated
100g vegetarian stilton , crumbled
1 tsp dried sage
1 tsp dried thyme
4 large plum tomatoes , sliced
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the pasta according to pack instructions until almost tender. Drain and rinse under cold water, drain again, then set aside.
  • In a heavy-based pan combine the wine, cream and Tabasco sauce, then gently heat. Gradually add half the cheddar and half the stilton, whisking constantly. Whisk in the sage and thyme and a good sprinkling of black pepper. When the mixture is smooth remove from the heat.
  • Place the pasta in a buttered 1.4 litre/2½ pint ovenproof dish. Pour the cheese and cream mixture over and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 mins. Remove the foil and arrange the tomato slices on top. Bake, uncovered, for 10 mins until the tomatoes are softened, the pasta is tender and the sauce has all been absorbed into the pasta. Serve immediately with a crisp winter salad and crusty bread.

30 slices French bread (1/2 inch thick)
1/4 cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing
2/3 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups milk
1/3 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Swiss Cheese
3 cups cooked linguine
3 green onions, thinly sliced
2 eggs, beaten
2 tomatoes, sliced

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Brush both sides of bread slices with vinaigrette dressing; place in single layer on baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until lightly browned. Cool slightly.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Line bottom and side of 10-inch pie plate with bread slices, with bread extending 1 inch over side.
  • Whisk MIRACLE WHIP, flour and garlic powder in large saucepan until blended; gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir on medium heat 8 to 10 min. or until sauce comes to boil and thickens. Remove from heat; stir in Parmesan and 1 cup Swiss cheese. Add pasta and onions; mix lightly. Stir in eggs. Spoon into prepared crust. Top with tomato slices and remaining Swiss cheese.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until heated through; let stand 10 min. before serving.
