Steps:
- 1) Mix flour and sugar in a mixing bowl. 2) Add in egg and butter, and then knead mixture into a dough by hand. 3) Add in milk and knead the dough until smooth. 4) Tear off a piece of dough, roll into a ball with palms and then flatten it. (Note: when the ball is flattened, the size should be slightly larger than your sliced vegetables) 5) Press a piece of vegetable onto the dough and then coat both sides with white sesame. 6) Arrange the cookies dough with vegetables on a tray, bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 deg C for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

Steps:
- COMBINE shortening, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large bowl; beat at medium speed until well blended. Add milk. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.
- COMBINE flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in separate large bowl. Mix into shortening mixture until well blended. Chill 1 hour.
- HEAT oven to 350 degrees F.
- ROLL out 1/3 of dough at a time to about 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface. Cut out with cookie cutters. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugars and decors or leave plain and frost when cooled.
- BAKE 6 to 8 minutes or until edges of cookies are slightly golden. Remove immediately to cooling rack.
- Buttery Cream Frosting:
- COMBINE powdered sugar, shortening and vanilla in bowl of electric mixer; slowly blend in milk to reach desired consistency.
- BEAT on high speed for 5 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Tint frosting with food coloring, if desired.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, white sugar, brown sugar, oats and coconut. Make a well in the center and pour in the oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix well using your hands or a wooden spoon. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, cookies should be a very light brown and chewy - not crisp. Cool for a couple of minutes on the baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

- Beat together eggs, oil, vanilla and sugar; add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.

- Take a non-stick pan and heat 1 tsp oil on it. Sauté cumin seed, chopped onions, and green chili for about 2 minutes and then add grated carrots and green peas.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame. Mash these vegetables. Let them cool down.
- In a separate bowl take wheat flour, gram flour, cornflour, salt, sugar-free, butter, baking powder, and mashed vegetables. Mix everything with hands to a coarse breadcrumb-like mixture.
- Add 1 tablespoon milk at a time till you get a smooth dough. I added 2 tablespoons of milk.
- Now cover the dough with a cling wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, keep the oven for preheating to 160 °C.
- After 30 minutes take the dough out of the refrigerator and slice the cookies using a sharp knife
- Arrange the cookies on a greased baking tray and put them to bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes.
- When baked, take the cookies out from oven and transfer them to a cooling rack.
- Let the cookies cool down completely before serving.
VEGETABLE COOKIES

- Boil the vegetables; make sure you overcook them (you want to be able to mash them).
- In a bowl, mix the cheese with the margarine or butter; add mashed vegetables and flour; slowly add milk.
- Form into a dough.
- Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
- Open the dough and with a cookie cutter form into shapes.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Let them cool and enjoy.
- Makes about 20 to 25, depending on the size of the shapes.
