0.75 oz White Rum
0.75 oz Dark Rum
0.5 oz Banana liqueur
0.5 oz Galliano
1.5 oz Orange juice
0.75 oz Pineapple juice
0.25 oz Lime juice
1 tsp Acid lime cordial

Steps:

Add all ingredients into your cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and shake until the drink is well-chilled.
Now, double strain into a chilled glass.
Optionally garnish with bird-shaped banana or pineapple wedge & cherry.

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, from 1/2 lime
1 1/4 ounces orange juice
1 ounce light rum
1 ounce dark rum
1/4 ounce Galliano L'Autentico liqueur
1 maraschino cherry , for garnish
1 sprig of mint, for garnish

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
Squeeze the juice of half a lime into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add the orange juice, both rums, and Galliano.
Shake well .
Strain into a collins glass filled with crushed ice.
Garnish with a cherry and a sprig of mint, if you like.

Bird was called Yellowbird by her father, and he sung her the song of the same name by the Mills Brothers. Now here's a tasty drink from the Caribbean Islands of the same name. Drink with thoughts of laying in a hammock on a sandy beach... under a banana tree. NOTE: I went on a Carnival cruise in July 2009... the 2nd day drink special were these and they were sooo good! They made them using pineapple juice, so I've edited the recipe to use that in lieu of lemon juice. Definitely better!

1 cup ice
4 ounces pineapple juice
1 ounce white rum (banana rum is best)
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1/2 ounce Galliano
splash carbonated carbonated lemon-lime beverage
1/2 slice lemon, for garnish

Steps:

To a drink shaker, Mix the first 5 ingredients and shake well.
Strain (or pour) into a cocktail glass and if desired, top with a splash of soda. Garnish with lemon slice and serve.

½ oz limoncello
10 blueberries, muddled
¼ teaspoon cane sugar
ice
lemon juice
sugar

Steps:

For sugar rim: Dip martini glass in lemon juice and directly dip into sugar.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the berry vodka, limoncello, blueberries, and sugar. Shake for 20 seconds, then strain.
Enjoy!

I visited the Bacardi distillery in Puerto Rico and it was a really neat tour. They had so many different kinds of rum, that my hubby looked like he was in heaven! This is a refreshing tropical drink that uses Bacardi light rum. This recipe is from Carnival Cruise Line, which is who we took our Caribbean cruise with. Enjoy!
