Easy 7-Up Marinade image

An easy and delicious marinade that is jam-packed with amazing flavor!

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups 7-Up
1 cup soy sauce
1 Tbsp. horseradish, (Optional) I use Kraft Sauceworks Horseradish
½ tsp. minced garlic
1 cup oil

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together.
  • Trim Chicken and poke holes with fork.
  • Place chicken in a 9x13 and pour marinade over top and cover. Place in fridge.
  • Marinade 8 hours or overnight
  • Grill chicken and eat up!

6 chicken breasts
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp Horseradish
1 (12 oz) can of lemon-lime soda pop (not diet)
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together in a Ziploc bag. Add 6 chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes (although the longer you go, the better they taste!
  • I usually marinate my chicken for at least 8 hours or overnight).
  • Grill over medium-high heat until cooked all the way through.

I have not tried this recipe,a friend of mine sent it to me,she says it's tasty and the sugar makes the meat carmalize beautifully. My friend says she used this on flank steak and made fajitas and it was excellent. Personally,I would season the meat after marinating with salt and pepper. I wanted to share this recipe even though I haven't tried it,my friend has good tastes and so far all her recipes have been tasty. This one sounds tasty.

- 1/4 c oil
- 1/2 c soy sauce
- 1 can 7-up
- 1/4-1/2 t. garlic powder
- 5 lb chicken or beef

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients. Place in a large Ziplock bag. Marinate over for best flavor and grill.

1 (3 -4 lb) boneless pork loin
1 (12 ounce) can Sprite or 1 (12 ounce) can ginger ale
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon flour

Steps:

  • In a plastic cooking bag place flour and shake it around to coat the inside of the bag.
  • Place the pork loin in the bag.
  • In a large bowl, combine the 7-up, red pepper, onion, garlic and soy sauce.
  • Pour this over the pork loin.
  • Seal the plastic bag and let marinate overnight.
  • Turn the pork roast once while in the plastic bag.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Place the cooking bag in a large baking dish.
  • Cut 6 (1-inch) slits into the top of the bag.
  • Let roast for 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours or until pork is done.
  • Remove the pork roast from the plastic cooking bag and set aside.
  • Drain the vegetables away from the liquid. Discard the vegetables.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 tbsps Wonder Flour and 2 tbsps cold water. Add 2 tbsps sweet and sour sauce;combine. Add the cooking liquid from the pork. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until mixture has thickened. (I serve with sweet and sour sauce only).
  • Slice the pork roast and serve with the glaze.

This is the best way to marinade chicken. I am telling you, this is the best grilled chicken you will ever eat. Plus, the small number of ingredients means that you most likely have most of what you need!

6 chicken breasts
½ cup soy sauce
½ teaspoon horseradish
12 ounces lemon lime soda (not diet)
¼ cup vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Mis all ingredients together in a Ziploc bag or a large mixing bowl. Pour marinade into a plastic resealable bag if you didn't mix it in one. Add 6 raw chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes (although the longer you go, the better they taste! I usually marinate my chicken for at least 8 hours or overnight).
  • Rub your grill with olive oil so the chicken doesn't stick. Place chicken on your grill grates. Grill chicken over medium-high heat until cooked all the way through.
  • Let the chicken rest and cut it to your liking.
  • Eat the grilled chicken pieces by themselves, with a side dish, or over a salad. You can even put it in the fridge and save it for the next day!
