1 ¼ cups margarine, softened
4 cups white sugar
8 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cups cocoa powder
2 cups chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 15x10 inch baking pan.
  • Combine the margarine and the sugar in a large mixing bowl; use an electric mixer to beat until light. Beat in the eggs and vanilla; mix well. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, walnuts, and salt in a large bowl. Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture, mixing just until dry ingredients are incorporated. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake brownies in the preheated oven until the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan, 40 to 45 minutes.

This are the easiest and most delicious brownies that I have ever eaten. They are so moist and super quick and easy to make. For best results, use a Dutch processed cocoa. For less cake-like brownies, use all-purpose flour instead of self rising.

½ cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
½ cup self-rising flour
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x8 or 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, beat together the butter and sugar. Add eggs, and mix well. Combine the flour, cocoa and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Mix in the vanilla and stir in walnuts if desired. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are firm. Cool before cutting into squares.

This is one of the best brownie recipes I've ever made. Everyone loves them (including me!) If I'm craving them, I'll eat them raw and cooked.

1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1/4 cup butter
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts, plus
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Line an 8x8-inch pan with foil. Spray the foil.
  • Combine 1 cup chips and the butter. Melt in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring until smooth. Whisk in the sugar and eggs. Stir in the flour and salt. Fold in the 1/2 cup nuts and vanilla.
  • Bake for 23-25 minutes or until done.
  • Finely chop the remaining nuts. Top the baked brownies with the remaining nuts and chips. Return to the oven for 2 minutes to melt the chips to form a glaze. Cool completely and cut into squares.

1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, or dark chocolate chips, divided
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
⅓ cup dark cocoa powder
nonstick cooking spray, for greasing

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
  • Add the butter and 1 cup (175 g) of chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1½ minutes, then let sit for 3 minutes before whisking together.
  • Add the granulated and brown sugars, vanilla, and salt. Whisk to combine.
  • Whisk in the eggs until fully combined.
  • Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the bowl and fold in with a spatula. Add the remaining chocolate chips and fold to incorporate.
  • Line a 9-inch (23-cm) square baking pan with parchment paper and grease with nonstick spray. Spread the batter evenly in the pan.
