Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 cups diced onions
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

In a saute pan over medium heat add oil, heat and add onions and salt. Cook the onions until they are caramelized, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Mix the rest of the ingredients, and then add the cooled onions. Refrigerate and stir again before serving.

Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 (8 ounce) packet taco seasoning
32 ounces nacho cheese
1/2 onion
1 green pepper
3 jalapeno peppers
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa

Steps:

Brown Ground Beef and taco seasoning in skillet.
add salt & pepper into Ground Beef.
Add half of the Gallon of Nacho Cheese into a crockpot.
turn on low.
add the ground beef to the crockpot.
dice onion and peppers finely
add jar of salsa
Mix all ingredients together then turn crockpot on high .
stir randomly let cook till hot normally around 2 hours
Then serve with nachos.
If you like spice add 1/4 of 8 oz jar franks red hot or your favorite hot sauce.

This dip recipe was given to me by a co-worker some 15 or more years ago. She made it for potlucks at work, and it was always gone from the nurse's station before the rest of the food was put out! It's a simple mixture of beef and cheese, but it should always be made a day in advance to allow the flavors to blend. Serve with your favorite corn chips.

Ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 pound processed cheese food, cubed
15 slices pickled jalapeno pepper slices, to taste

Steps:

Place lean ground beef and onion in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Cook until beef is evenly brown and onion is soft. Drain and turn heat to medium low.
Pour in condensed cream of mushroom soup. Mix in processed cheese food and desired amount of jalapeno peppers. Cook and stir until all ingredients are well blended, about 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight.
Reheat the mixture in a slow cooker, mixing in about 1 tablespoon of water to thin if necessary, before serving.
