3 (7.5-ounce / 10 count) cans homestyle Pillsbury biscuits
1 (20-ounce) can sliced apple pie filling
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons melted butter.
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
4 to 8 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, pour the apple filling in and use a knife to run through the mixture until the apples are all cut into small bite sized pieces. Mix the pie filling with the sugars, flour, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and butter. Mix the biscuits into the apple mixture and stir well to coat. Spray a bundt pan generously with cooking spray and then pour the mixture into the pan. Make the glaze by mixing the sugar and cinnamon. Add the vanilla and then mix in milk until the glaze reaches the desired consistency. Bake at 350˚F for 40 to 50 minutes or until the bread is baked through. Once you remove from the oven invert the pan onto a plate while it is still hot so that all that gooey goodness doesn't stick to the pan.

  • Drizzle the glaze over the top of the monkey bread.

1 medium tart apple, peeled, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with shortening or cooking spray. Set aside icing tubs from cinnamon rolls. Separate each can of dough into 5 rolls; cut into quarters. Place apple in small bowl. In another small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Add 1/4 cup sugar mixture to apple; toss to coat. Sprinkle half of apple pieces in pan. Roll half of dough pieces in sugar mixture; place on apples in pan. Sprinkle with remaining apple pieces. Roll remaining dough pieces in sugar mixture; place on apples. Pour melted butter over top. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown across top. Cool 10 minutes; run knife around edge of pan to loosen. Place heatproof serving plate over pan and turn over; remove pan. Cool 10 minutes longer. Drizzle reserved icing over top of bread, allowing some to drizzle down sides. Pull apart to serve; serve warm.

21 ounces apple pie filling (595 grams (1 can))
Cinnamon Roll Icing (from the cinnamon roll cans)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cut each of the cinnamon rolls into quarters.
  • Chop the apple filling so you get bite-size chunks. I like to take my kitchen shears to help get this job done.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon bun pieces and apple filling.
  • Grease a bunt pan with nonstick spray. Pour the apple mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until it's golden brown.
  • Allow the pan to cool for 5 minutes. While the pan is still warm, carefully place a plate over the pan and flip the monkey bread onto that plate. Drizzle with the icing from the cinnamon roll tubes. Serve warm and enjoy!

½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup raisins
¾ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
  • In a medium bowl, use a potato masher to break up apples in the filling; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Brush the inside of a fluted tube pan with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
  • Mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl. Combine 1/4 cup of the spiced sugar mixture with minced apples and stir until coated.
  • Separate cinnamon roll dough rounds and cut into quarters. Set aside the icing.
