APPLE PIE MOONSHINE COCKTAIL

One of autumn's favorite desserts in a cocktail. This apple pie moonshine cocktail recipe tastes like apple pie a la mode!

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cups apple cider
1.5 ounces vanilla vodka (or regular vodka)
1.5 ounces apple pie moonshine
1 tablespoon simple syrup
Apple slices and a cinnamon stick to garnish (optional)

Steps:

To make the simple syrup, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar has just dissolved and then transfer to a heatproof container. Cool and refrigerate until ready to use. May be made a week in advance.
To mix your cocktail, fill a highball glass or pint size mason jar with ice. Add apple slices if using.
Add the vanilla vodka, apple pie moonshine, and simple syrup.
Top with apple cider.
Stir.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.

1-1/2 ounces sour apple liqueur
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

Green apple slice, optional

Steps:

Fill a shaker three-fourths full with ice. Add the vodka, apple liqueur and lemon juice. Cover and shake for 10-15 seconds or until condensation forms on outside of shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. If desired, garnish with apple.
