SWEET AND SPICY COLESLAW

Steps:
- Cut cabbage in quarters and remove core. Peel carrots and onion and cut into pieces that would fit through the feed tube of a food processor. Fit food processor with the large-holed grater attachment and push cabbage, carrots, and onions through feed tube to grate. In a large bowl, toss vegetables together.
- In another medium bowl, prepare the coleslaw dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, mustard, cider vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and cayenne. Toss dressing with the cabbage mixture, and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
AUNTIE'S CARAWAY COLESLAW
Steps:
- Combine the cabbage, carrot, caraway seeds and parsley in a medium salad bowl. Whisk the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the coleslaw mix, then season with salt and black pepper to your taste, and toss well.

- Combine the shredded green cabbage, purple cabbage, sweet peppers and carrots in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, milk, sugar, vinegar, salt and hot sauce. Pour over the cabbage. Toss to combine. Add the cilantro at the very end. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
CLASSIC CREAMY COLESLAW

- Shred the carrots, cabbage and onions in a food processor fitted with a shredding blade. Place the vegetables in a large bowl and mix in the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, granulated garlic, granulated onion and a pinch each salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
- Serve chilled.
AUNT NELL'S PUMPKIN PIE
Every Thanksgiving celebration in my family since I have been alive has included this pumpkin pie, my great-great Aunt Nell's. It has converted more than one pumpkin pie hater, including my father. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

AUNT MARGIE'S COLE SLAW
Growing up, I had never eaten or even heard of a creamy cole slaw dressing...this was the only one my Mom ever made...to this day I love it. A nice change from the mayo based recipes not to mention this one works better for cook outs or picnics where you don't want milk or mayo based salads. If you want it sugar free - just use sugar subsitute

NANCY'S COLE SLAW FROM PAULA DEEN

- In a medium bowl, combine the onion and sugar and let stand for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, mayonnaise, salt, and celery seed and add to the onion mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a jar with a tight lid.
- Shake the jar to blend the dressing.
- Put the cabbage in a large serving bowl and add the onions, pour on the dressing, and toss well.

- Thoroughly beat together Crisco, sugar, egg and molasses.
- Mix together remaining ingredients and then blend into the first mixture.
- Chill dough for 3 hours or overnight.
- Shape dough into small balls.
- Roll each ball in sugar. Using a glass covered with a wet towel, flatten each ball then sprinkle a little sugar on top.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 11 minutes.

AUNT NELL'S COLESLAW
There are so many varieties of coleslaw and I wanted to add my Aunt's recipe. This is the way she has always made Coleslaw and it's my absolute favorite version. Sooooo good! Cook time is the time needed to chill the slaw.

Steps:
- Remove the green outer leaves of the cabbage and discard or use in another recipe.
- Using the white leafy parts of the cabbage, cut it in small pieces.
- Add the eggs and pickles to the cabbage.
- Add just enough mayonnaise to moisten the cabbage and hold all ingredients together.
- Chill for 1 hour before serving.
