DEBBIE'S AMAZING APPLE BREAD
I was given this recipe years ago by my friend Debbie. I've had it written down on a torn piece of paper for years and decided today that this recipe needs to be on AllRecipes. It is a moist, sweet, and delicious bread with a crispy crust. By far my favorite bread recipe!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Beat eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl; add apples.
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon in a separate bowl; add to apple mixture and stir just until evenly combined into a thick batter. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cover loaf pan with aluminum foil; continue baking until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 15 minutes more. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

AWESOME APPLE BREAD
This bread is so moist and flavorful that my kids even eat the ends, which for most quick breads I usually have to throw away. At Christmas, I make the mini loaves and give as gifts to my neighbors. The oil can be replaced with 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce. Still flavorful but not quite as moist. If possible, don't skip the walnuts, they really add to it.

Steps:
- Combine and set aside the oil, eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
- Sift flour, cinnamon, soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to oil mixture gradually.
- Add apples and nuts.
- Bake in 2 regular loaf pans or 3 foil loaf pans for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
- Cool 10 minutes in the pan.
- Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
- Note: I bake it at 325 degrees for about 70 minutes.

AWESOME COUNTRY APPLE FRITTER BREAD

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray or line with foil and spray with nonstick spray, for easy removal.
- Mix brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon together in a bowl; set aside. Toss apples with 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and remaining teaspoon cinnamon in another bowl.
- Beat butter and remaining 2/3 cup granulated sugar together in another medium bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until blended in; add vanilla extract.
- Whisk flour and baking powder together in another bowl, then add to creamed butter mixture and beat until blended. Mix 1/2 cup milk into batter until smooth.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan; add half the chopped apple mixture.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture on top of apple layer.
- Pour the remaining batter over apple layer and top with remaining chopped apples, then the remaining brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.
- Lightly pat apples into batter; swirl brown sugar mixture through apples using a knife or spoon.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar with remaining 1 to 3 tablespoons milk for a glaze, depending on preferred thickness.
- Let the loaf cool for about 15 minutes, then drizzle with glaze.
APPLE BREAD
I am lucky enough to live in a small community whose school district still allows us to send home-baked goods with our children. My daughter is in 7th grade now, but her classmates still beg her to have her mom send this special treat. It's a beautiful quick bread your family, friends, and all the neighbor children will love.

- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Prepare 2 loaf pans (8 1/2x4 1/2-inch loaf pans) with cooking spray.
- Mix flour, baking soda, salt, walnuts, and apples in a large bowl. Whisk oil, sugar, eggs, and cinnamon together in a small bowl; add to flour mixture and mix until just moistened. Evenly divide mixture between prepared loaf pans.
- Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 90 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

APPLE BREAD
This is our fall favorite. Unfortunately our two apple trees are very early apples which cannot be stored for more than two or three weeks, so we have tons of apples which have to be eaten, canned, preserved or made into cake within a fortnight... I don't know where I got this recipe from, but I've made it for more then ten years now and no matter how many loaves I make, they vanish rapidly. Although I cannot eat this bread anyway, I make it gluten free, using gluten free cake flour mix. It works well with a mix of brown, white and sweet rice flour plus some arrowroot starch (just use your preferred gluten free cake flour mix), but making it gluten free means adding an egg or egg replacer, too, or it won't stick together. Prep time doesn't include overnight soaking time.

- In the evening, mix all ingredients except flour, baking powder and salt, combine thoroughly and let stand overnight.
- In the morning, there will be a lot of liquid. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt, mix very well and pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake the bread for one hour. As there a re so many apples in it, the wooden toothpick trick will not work, the bread is way too moist. So you have to watch and eyeball a bit after one hour whether it really is done or not. I've never baked it longer than one hour, though, and it always turned out done.
- Remove pan from oven and cut around the rim of the pan to prevent bread from sticking. Let cool in the pan, then carefully remove it.
- If using non stick baking paper to line the pan, you can also carefully lift the bread out of the pan immediately and eat it warm, which is delicious with some vanilla ice cream :).

CRUNCHY APPLE BREAD
Here on our farm where we raise shorthorn cattle, I enjoy baking for my husband of over 40 years, our children and grandkids. And at the holidays, I make plenty of loaves of apple bread to share with friends.

- In a bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and orange juice; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in apple, raisins and pecans. Pour into a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
