- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lay out Individual Biscuits and using a rolling pin, roll them out as flat as possible. Slice the thin-rolled biscuits into long strips. Wrap hot dogs with biscuit strips at 45 degree angle. Lay two craisins on top of hotdog to make the eyes. Place bacon on glass plate and microwave for 60 seconds on high to soften and pre-cook bacon a little. Let bacon cool a little, then wrap bacon around the biscuit strips around the hot dog. Bake for 30 minutes, or until biscuit is golden brown and bacon changes color. Serve immediately, hot dog and bacon will be fully cooked.

- Lay out individual biscuits and using rolling pin, roll them flat to about 1/8" thickness. Using pizza cutter, slice biscuits into thin strips, but keep the biscuit itself together so that the flat strips are still touching. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lay hot dog on biscuit at 45 degrees and roll up the biscuit around the hot dog with the strips at an angle. Use 1 extra strip, cut it in half, and roll around the top of the dog to make the head. Place 2 black olive slices to make the eyes. Bake for 20-minutes or until biscuit is golden brown. Serve immediately, hot dog will be fully cooked.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an 8 inch square or oval dish. 2. In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook cauliflower for 5 minutes. Drain. Set aside in a bowl. 3. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes or until crispy. Set aside on paper towels. Discard all but 2 tsp. of fat. Add leeks to the skillet; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until very soft and just starting to turn golden. Transfer to the bowl with the cauliflower. Add bacon. 4. Wipe skillet clean. Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle with flour; cook, whisking, for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Whisk for 3 to 5 minutes or until smooth and thickened. Whisk in the Gruyere, Parmesan and salt until cheese is melted. 5. Pour over cauliflower mixture, stirring until well coated. 6. Transfer to buttered dish. Topping: In a bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs, cheese and butter. Sprinkle over the dish. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden on top and heated throughout. Variation: Use broccoli and cheddar in place of cauliflower and Gruyere and Parmesan.
KID-PLEASING SLOPPY JOES
This is one of my kids' favorite recipes! I could make this five times in a row and they'd never get tired of it. It's easy to make and a real quick, hot meal for those busy nights. I will add cheese on top of these kid-friendly Sloppy Joes or warm the rolls in the oven. I occasionally add mild banana peppers on top for my husband since he is a fan of spicy things.

- Wrap wieners tightly with bacon and place in the freezer for at least 20 minutes to help the bacon adhere to the wieners better.
- Heat a non-stick stove top grill or outdoor grill, oiling lightly, and cook wieners until the bacon is slightly crispy.
- Open buns (butter the insides if desired) and toast lightly over the grill or in a broiler.
- Insert wieners into buns and top with cheese. Wrap with foil and return to grill for a few minutes to allow cheese to melt.
- Serve with desired condiments along with potato salad or potato chips and baked beans.

KID PLEASING'CHILI MAC
This one is so easy, I don't even know if it qualifies for a "recipe" but my kids love it and when I don't feel like cooking, but need something on the table fast...this one does the trick every time.

Steps:
- Start your water boiling for macaroni, per product instructions, but omitting butter. I usually start with hot water and use a lid for the pot so the water boils faster.
- Slice wieners in half lengthwise but keep the round shape together.
- Now, cut them cross-wise into segments so that you end up with several evenly cut pieces per wiener.
- By now your water should be boiling.
- Add your macaroni and the wieners to the water.
- Prepare the rest of the macaroni as usual, cooking for about 11-13 minutes, removing from heat and draining.
- Add powdered cheese, Campbell's can of cheese soup (or Velveeta), and can of chili sauce.
- You can add a can of diced tomatoes, plain or with green chili's if your kids like a little zing in their food.
- That's the way we like it.
- Mix well and serve.
