- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Stir cabbage, chicken broth, onion, butter, bacon, seasoned salt, salt, and black pepper together in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven until cabbage is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Brush both sides of each cabbage wedge with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper over each wedge. Arrange wedges on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes; flip cabbage and continue roasting until browned and charred in some areas, about 15 minutes more. Squeeze lemon over each wedge.

WORLD'S BEST BRAISED GREEN CABBAGE
My d.h. HATES cabbage, but I just had to try this. It lives up to it's title! Luscious! AND healthy. He even agrees. Yee ha! It originates, I believe, from Molly Stevens' "All About Braising..." by way of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. There is nothing to it and after you make it once you don't need the recipe.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 325'. Oil a large baking dish (9"x13"). Discard ragged outer leaves from cabbage and cut into 1/8s, removing most of core. Arrange wedges in dish with no- or minimum overlapping.
- Thickly slice onion and cut carrot into 1/4" rounds.
- Scatter onions and carrot over cabbage; drizzle with oil and stock, salt and peppers. Cover tightly with foil and bake till tender, about 2 hours May turn the cabbage after an hour. At this point you can add a bit of water if dish seems too dry.
- When tender, remove foil, raise temp to 400' and roast another 15 minute or so till veggies are beginning to brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.

- Cook cabbage in boiling water just until outer leaves pull away easily from head. Set aside 12 large leaves for rolls. In a small bowl, combine the beef, pork, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, onion, rice, parsley, salt, dill and cayenne; mix well., Cut out the thick vein from the bottom of each leaf, making a V-shaped cut. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture on a cabbage leaf; overlap cut ends of leaf. Fold in sides. Beginning from the cut end, roll up. Repeat., Slice the remaining cabbage; place in a Dutch oven. - Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
- Combine salt, pepper, and sugar in small bowl. Set aside.
- **Cutting option 1- Quarter cabbage through core and cut each quarter in to 1-inch wedges, leaving core intact. You'll have about 16 wedges.
- **Cutting option 2- Slice into 1-inch-thick rounds, leaving core in to help hold it together.
- Brush a rimmed baking sheet with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- Arrange cabbage in single layer on baking sheet and brush with remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil. Sprinkle with salt mixture.
- Roast until cabbage is tender and edges are golden, 25 to 35 minutes.

- Core cabbage and place in a large pot. Fill hole with vinegar and salt. Fill pot with water to top of cabbage but not flowing into the core. Bring to a boil, turn stove off and leave overnight. The next morning your cabbage is cooled and ready to work with, perfect!
- Combine ground beef, pork, cooked rice, 2 tablespoons sugar, 4 tablespoons onion, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, salt, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon paprika.
- Grab an appropriate sized handful of meat for the size of cabbage leaf and place at the core end of the leaf, roll, tucking sides of the leaf inches.
- Place on a platter seam side down.
- Continue with remaining leaves.
- Saute diced onion in the canola oil with salt, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon paprika, until translucent.
- Place in the bottom of a large roasting pan.
- Add hot water and stir to combine.
- Place cabbage rolls on top of the onion mixture, arranging smaller ones on the second layer.
- Mix tomato sauce with the brown sugar and lemon juice; pour over the cabbage rolls.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

- Coarsely chop cabbage in large casserole dish sprayed with PAM.
- Sprinkle onion on top of cabbage.
- Pour melted butter over cabbage.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Mix Mayo and soup together and then spread over cabbage and onions.
- For topping, mix together melted butter, crushed crackers and grated cheese.
- Sprinkle over top of casserole.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until bubbly and brown.
