1/2 cup KRAFT Real Mayo
1/2 cup pecan pieces, chopped
1/3 cup chopped black olives
1/3 cup golden raisins
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
round buttery crackers

Steps:

  • Mix mayo, pecans, olives and raisins; set aside.
  • Spread cream cheese onto bottom of 8-inch pie plate or other shallow serving dish; top with the mayo mixture and parsley.
  • Serve as a spread for the crackers.

2 shallots, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tablespoon thyme
5 ounces black olives, pitted
12 pecans, halved, shelled
2/3 cup single cream
salt & freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Melt the butter in a heavy-based frying pan over medium-low heat.
  • Add the shallots, garlic and thyme, and gently fry for a few minutes until the shallots are soft and just beginning to caramelise.
  • Add the olives, pecans and cream. Simmer for a few minutes. Season to taste, bearing in mind the saltiness of the olives.

1 (6-ounce) can pitted California olives
1 tablespoon flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Put the garlic cloves into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add the olives and parsley and pulse again until the mix is almost a puree. Add the mayonnaise and salt and pulse until combined. With the processor running, add the olive oil in a stream. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.

4 teaspoons cornstarch
