  • Put everything in a jar, mix well.
  • Serve over iceberg wedges.
  • Keep in refrigerator about 2 weeks.

1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1 tablespoon 2% milk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Whisk the yogurt, milk, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne in a bowl until smooth. Gently stir in the blue cheese. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, and black pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate overnight to let the flavors develop.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 large garlic clove, minced and mashed to a paste with 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons white-wine vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup sour cream
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (about 3 ounces) plus additional to taste if desired

Steps:

  • In a blender or small food processor blend together the garlic paste, the mustard, the lemon juice, the vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. With the motor running add the oil and blend the mixture until it is combined well. Add the sour cream, 3/4 cup of the cheese, and 2 tablespoons water, or enough to obtain the desired consistency, blend the dressing until it is combined well, and transfer it to a bowl. Stir in the additional cheese. The dressing keeps, covered and chilled, for about 1 week.

  • Stir mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, sherry, and garlic salt together in a bowl. Fold blue cheese through the mixture.
