- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cook the bacon until crispy. Drain and then crumble. Set aside.
- Steam the broccoli until almost tender. They should seem a little undercooked.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Add the flour and stir until thoroughly mixed. Add in the cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Add the milk and spices. Stir until well heated but do not bring to a boil as that might scald the milk.
- Stir in 1 cup of the grated cheese and remove from the heat.
- Dump the broccoli in a 13x9 baking dish. Pour the cheese mixture over the broccoli. Sprinkle bacon (minus about 2 tablespoons) and sliced green onions (minus about 2 tablespoons). Gently fold so that the broccoli is coated in the cheese mixture and the bacon and green onions are mixed throughout.
- Evenly spread the broccoli in the baking sheet. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is melted

- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Cook broccoli in boiling water in large saucepan 5 min. or until crisp-tender; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain well.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon in same saucepan on medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard all but 2 Tbsp. drippings from skillet. Add onions to reserved drippings; cook and stir 4 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in milk until blended; cook and stir 3 min. or until thickened. Add cheese; cook and stir 3 min. or until melted. Remove from heat.
- Stir in broccoli and bacon; spoon into 1-1/2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray. Top with cracker crumbs.
- Bake 25 min. or until heated through.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Boil water to cook pasta.
- While water is boiling, fry bacon strips.
- Set aside on paper towel to drain.
- After pasta is cooked, drain and set aside in a casserole dish.
- Crumble bacon& stir into pasta.
- Also stir in broccoli.
- Over medium heat, heat milk in a saucepan& slowly stir in flour until smooth& slightly thickened.
- Stir in cheese until mostly melted& remove from heat.
- Pour over pasta mixture and stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
- Salt and Pepper to suit personal taste& if desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese over casserole before baking.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, and let cool 5 minutes before serving.

- In a saucepan bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a casserole dish.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook bow-tie pasta at a boil, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels, reserving bacon grease in the skillet. Let bacon cool enough to handle, about 5 minutes; crumble and set aside. Drain cooked pasta and set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons bacon grease in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic in the hot grease for 2 to 3 minutes. Add crumbled bacon, heavy cream, and 1 tablespoon butter; continue cooking until sauce becomes thick and creamy, 5 to 7 minutes. Mix in gouda cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and mix pasta into the cream sauce. Pour mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
- Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in a medium, microwave-safe bowl in a microwave for 20 seconds. Mix in panko bread crumbs and riced broccoli; stir very well to coat in butter. Spread mixture on top of pasta.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven.
- Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler.
- Continue to bake in the preheated oven until crumble is browned, about 5 minutes more.

- In a large pot of salted water first boil the broccoli florets until al dente, drain well and set aside, in the same water cook the pasta al dente, drain well.
- In a small pan with 1 tablespoon of oil cook pancetta (bacon or sausage) until lightly golden, remove from pan and drain on paper towel lined plate.
- In a medium pot on medium heat, melt butter, whisk in flour and salt until smooth then gradually add milk and stir continuously until smooth and thickened. Gently fold in broccoli and pasta, then gently fold in Pancetta, turn into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with fresh thyme. Bake for approximately 15 minutes (I also broil it for about 2-3 minutes to brown the top). Serve immediately. Enjoy!
