BUBBA'S BEER BISCUITS
These beer biscuits are quick and easy to prepare. Using baking mix, you'll combine sugar, melted butter and a can of your favorite beer all together. Serve these warm, fluffy biscuits with homemade honey butter.

- Preheat oven to 400 °F. Mix all ingredients well, adjusting the sugar according to how sweet a biscuit you prefer. Pour into well-greased muffin tins. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with honey butter. Makes about 12 to 16 biscuits.
BUBBA'S BEER BISCUITS
Here's Paula Deen's method of making mix biscuits in her own special Southern way. Although titled as "biscuits," these are baked in muffin tins.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F; butter a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well, adding sugar up to 1/2 cup to your own preference.
- Pour batter into the muffin tin.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
- Serve with honey butter (Paula's "honey butter" recipe can be found at RecipeZaar #1149320).
BUBBA'S BEER BREAD
This bread is the best when baked in a black cast iron pan. Once the bread is in the oven, start 'cookin down' those collard greens, black eyed peas and hawg jaws. It's a New Years tradition. It'll change your luck !!!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet.
- In a large bowl, stir together the self-rising flour, sugar, onion powder, dill weed and salt. Pour in the beer, and stir until all of the dry is incorporated. Stir as lightly as possible so as not to deflate the beer. Fold in cheese cubes.
- Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly touched. The bread should rise way above the edge of the pan.
