2 cups broccoli
2 cups cauliflower
2 eggs
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
½ cup butter, melted
1 (15 ounce) package seasoned croutons, crushed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Put broccoli and cauliflower in separate saucepans and pour enough water into the saucepans to cover the vegetables completely; bring each to a boil and cook until tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain each and mix in a 11x7-inch baking dish.
  • Beat eggs in a bowl until creamy. Mix mayonnaise, onion, and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese into the eggs; pour over the vegetables. Pour melted butter over the broccoli mixture and top with the remaining Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle croutons over the entire dish.
  • Bake in preheated oven until browned and bubbling, about 40 minutes.

1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup crushed seasoned stuffing

Steps:

  • Place 1 in. of water in a Dutch oven; add cauliflower and broccoli. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 7 minutes or until tender. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the cheese, sour cream, chilies, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper. 6 ounces fresh cauliflower
6 ounces fresh broccoli
2 tablespoons butter
2 ½ tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 ½ cups milk
1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon English mustard
cayenne pepper to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • In a medium saucepan with enough water to cover, boil cauliflower and broccoli until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain, and transfer to a medium baking dish.
  • In a separate medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter, and stir in flour. Gradually whisk in milk, and increase heat to medium. As the mixture thickens, whisk in English mustard, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Continue whisking until a thick sauce has formed, being careful not to allow the mixture to boil. Sprinkle in 2/3 of the cheese, and stir until melted.
  • Pour sauce over broccoli and cauliflower. Bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, until bubbly and lightly brown. Sprinkle with remaining cheese during the final 10 minutes of cooking.

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

¼ cup butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cups half-and-half

.063 teaspoon paprika
salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add broccoli and cauliflower and cook uncovered until tender yet firm to the bite, 2 to 3 minutes. This is my Mom's, (in Heaven now) famous recipe. It was always requested by her to make it, now it's requested from me to always bring to family gatherings. I vamped it up the other night and turned it into a Chicken, Broccoli, and Cauliflower Casserole with left-over Rotisserie chicken, and it was a very hearty one dish dinner! I highly recommend trying it both ways!

1 cup Minute Rice
1 cup reserved cooking water from cooking the broccoli and cauliflower
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced onion
3 tablespoons butter
paprika
leftover rotisserie chicken (if making it a one dish meal)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.

1 large head of cauliflower , broken into florets
1 vegetable stock cube
1 large head broccoli , broken into florets
200g tub crème fraîche
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
splash of white wine (if you have some)
generous grating nutmeg
2 slices stale bread , whizzed into crumbs

Steps:

  • Cover the cauliflower in cold water, add the stock cube, then bring up to the boil. Add the broccoli and cook for 1 min, then drain (reserving some of the stock) and allow to steam-dry for 1-2 mins. (The veg shouldn't be tender.)
  • Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Mix together the crème fraîche, mustard, wine (if using), nutmeg and some seasoning. Add the veg and mix well. Tip into an ovenproof dish, scatter with the breadcrumbs and bake for 30 mins until golden and crisp on the top.

10 ounces broccoli florets
10 ounces cauliflower florets
½ cup butter
1 onion, chopped
1 pound processed cheese food, cubed
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
5 ⅜ fluid ounces milk
1 ½ cups crushed buttery round crackers

Steps:

  • In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Simmer broccoli and cauliflower florets in water for 10 minutes, or until crunchy. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

3 cups fresh cauliflower florets
10 ounces cream of mushroom soup or 10 ounces chicken soup
3 ounces swiss cheese (3/4 cup torn)
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes or 2 tablespoons chopped onions, if fresh
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
3/4 cup soft breadcrumbs (use less if dried)
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine

Steps:

  • Steam broccoli and cauliflower until crisp-tender (it will cook a bit in the dish). Drain.

1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
1 cup water or 1 cup chicken broth
1 large chopped tomato

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, 1 tbs oil, and garlic. Set aside.
  • Heat remaining tbs of oil in large skillet and cook broccoli/cauliflower 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

3 cups broccoli florets
3 cups cauliflower, chopped
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups seasoned croutons

Steps:

  • Cook vegetables in separate pots in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Place evenly in buttered 11 x 7 baking dish or casserole.
  • Beat eggs; combine with mayo, onion, soup, and 1/2 cup cheese. Pour evenly over vegetables.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese over sauce.
  • Pour melted butter over entire casserole.
  • Distribute crushed croutons over melted butter,.
  • Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
