COFFEE MARINATED STEAK
My dad-a big steak lover-got this recipe form a friend, and now we never eat steak without using this marinade. It makes the meat so juicy and adds a great flavor.

- In a small skillet, toast sesame seeds in butter. Add onion and garlic; saute until tender. In a large bowl, combine the coffee, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and sesame seed mixture. , Pour half into a shallow dish; add steak and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade., Drain and discard marinade from steak. Grill steak, covered, over medium-hot heat for 6-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). Warm reserved marinade; serve with steak.

Steps:
- Place all but the chicken into a 5qt.
- pot with lid.
- Bring to a boil,stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to simmer and reduce to almost half.
- Stir frequently as this can burn.
- Let cool,off heat, 20 minutes.
- Add chicken and blend well.
- Marinate no more than 30 minutes in cool place.
- Turn into baking dish and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour.
- Baste at least three times while baking.
- * Cut cholestrol down further by using boneless skinless chicken breasts.

- Pick flat container, baking dish or reusable silicone bag so chicken can lay flat for maximum flavor penetration.

- You should marinate overnight. If you can’t do that, at least marinate for a couple hours. Just throw all the marinating ingredients into a big plastic baggy along with your sirloin steak and throw it in the fridge to marinade all night long. A plastic bag full of happiness.
- Once your steak is done marinating, place your rub seasonings on a plate, pull your steaks out of the marinade, and cover the steaks on both sides with the rub.
- Heat up a skillet with 1 tablespoon of fat (I used bacon fat) and when the skillet is super hot, add your sirloin steak to it. Mine was pretty thick so I could it on both sides for about 5 minutes. You only want to flip your steak once because you don’t want to overcook it! So don’t touch it a ton. It’ll do the work.
- While your steak is cooking, heat up another skillet with another tablespoon of fat and add your onions, poblano pepper, and bell peppers.
