20-MINUTE CREAMY TUNA PASTA
Creamy tuna pasta recipe! This is the perfect easy cheap weeknight dinner idea that you can make using non-perishable foods and leftovers in your fridge. You'll want to make this tasty tuna pasta every single evening!

Steps:
- Chop the ingredients. In a nonstick pan saute the kale and cauliflower with olive oil and 1 clove of garlic and salt for 5-6 minutes, cover with a lid.
- In the meantime mix the tuna with the lemon juice and a little bit of chili powder (if desired)
- Add the pasta to the pan and about 1 cup of water.
- Stir in the tomato paste, pesto, garlic and the tuna.
- Stir in the cream cheese and add water if needed. Crush some black pepper and cover with a lid for 3 minutes (I used quick cooking macaroni).
- Stir in the basil and let cook for another minute.
- Take off heat and serve immediately.

HARD TIMES CREAMED TUNA
Times were tough for my newly divorced mom in the 70's. I remember eating creamed tuna on toast with a green salad on the side at least weekly. It was one of my favorite meals, and I had no idea we were eating it out of necessity. Times aren't so tough now, but I still make this about once a month. It's great when you're in a hurry, or have limited supplies on hand. My kids love it too!

Steps:
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir flour into melted butter until smooth and slowly stream milk into the mixture while whisking continually. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir tuna into the milk mixture; season with salt and pepper. Cook until tuna is warmed, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Ladle tuna mixture over toasted bread to serve.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Cook noodles according to package directions for al dente, adding peas during the last minute of cooking; drain., Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, cheese, milk and salt; stir in tuna, onion and pepper. - Preheat oven to 375°.Place tuna in a small bowl. Break apart with a fork. Toss with 3 teaspoon of the lemon juice set aside.In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese, chives, parsley, remaining 1 teaspoon lemon juice, salt and hot pepper sauce until blended. Stir in celery. Add tuna mixture. Stir just until blended.Separate crescent roll dough into four rectangles, pinching perforations together. Roll each into a 7 x 5-inch rectangle. Place one-fourth of the tuna mixture on half of each rectangle. Fold in half to completely enclose filling. Press edges together to seal. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Carefully brush tops with egg and sprinkle with seeds.Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
