CREAMY CAJUN SHRIMP PASTA
This is a fast and easy dish that does not require whipping cream for the sauce. I made it with skim milk and it turned out just fine. We use a lot a cajun spice so adjust to your tastes.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dete; drain.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute shrimp for 1 minute on each side. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Remove shrimp from skillet (some shrimp may not be cooked completely) and set aside.
- Stir in flour and Cajun seasoning into the butter. Cook, stirring for 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk, then cook until thickened. Return shrimp to sauce and cook 1 to 2 minutes more until shrimp is done. Season with salt.
- Top pasta with shrimp sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
CREAMY CAJUN SHRIMP PASTA
Cajun Shrimp Pasta recipe that makes for the BEST pasta dinner that is ready in under 30 minutes! Buttery cajun shrimp in a creamy cajun sauce mixed with pasta. An easy pasta dish packed with so much flavor!

Steps:
- Cook the penne pasta in a pot of salted water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain the water and cover the pasta to keep warm.
- Coat the shrimp with 1 Tbsp of the cajun seasoning. In a deep skillet, heat 1 Tbsp oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer and saute for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until the shrimp is no longer translucent, remove from skillet and cover to keep warm.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 Tbsp butter with the minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Add in the diced tomatoes and saute for about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy whipping cream, remaining 1 Tbsp cajun seasoning and grated parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer then reduce to medium/low heat and continue 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Add the shrimp and pasta back into the skillet and stir until noodles are coated in sauce and everything is heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve.

- Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute shrimp for 1 minute on each side. Stir in garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon; set aside. Stir in flour and Cajun seasoning. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk, then cook until thickened. Remove from heat, and season with salt and lemon juice. Steps:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Melt butter.
- Add onion, garlic, green onion, Tony Chachere's, white pepper, and cook until softened.
- Add wine and tomatoes. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and spinach, simmer 5 minutes.
- Add pasta, shrimp, and 1/2 cup parmesan reggiano. Simmer until shrimp is warmed.
- Top with rest of Parmesan Reggiano and serve.

CREAMY CAJUN SHRIMP PASTA
Steps:
- Place a large pot of salted water over medium heat. Bring to the boil then season generously with salt.
- Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of water then drain and set aside.
- Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a large bowl then add the olive oil, crushed garlic, half of the seasonings and a generous pinch of salt.
- Stir to coat the shrimp in the spices.
- Heat a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Sear the shrimp for a minute per side until they are golden brown and just cooked.
- Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the butter and add the garlic. Cook for 30 seconds then add the remaining spices.
- Cook for another 30 seconds then pour in the white wine. Allow the pan to deglaze and the wine to reduce by half.
- Pour in the cream and season with salt and pepper. Allow the cream to simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce coats the back of a spoon.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Add the shrimp back to the pan with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Allow the shrimp to heat through.
- Toss the creamy sauce and shrimp with cooked pasta of your choice and a splash of the reserved pasta water and serve scattered with fresh parsley and oregano (optional).

- In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, melt the butter over medium heat until just bubbling. Add the sausage and then season with salt. Brown for 2 minutes on 1 side, then stir and brown on the other side for 2 minutes more.
- Add the onion, season with salt, and cook for 2 minutes, until starting to soften. Add the jalapeño, garlic, and tomato paste. Stir to distribute the tomato paste. Add the Jazzy spice blend and stir to combine.
- Add the pasta, red and green peppers, mushrooms, and salt and stir to combine. Pour in the tomatoes and stock. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, until the pasta is cooked through and the peppers are tender but not mushy.
- Mix in the cream cheese to create a thick, creamy sauce.
