Homemade dill pickle dip has the perfect amount of tartness.

8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped white onion
2 tablespoons chopped dill pickles
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 or 2 teaspoons pickle juice ( (optional) add if you like a little more tartness.)

Steps:

  • Allow cream cheese to warm to room temperature to soften. In a medium sized mixing bowl mix together cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until well blended. Add in chopped white onion, chopped dill pickles, and Worcestershire sauce, and mix until you have a uniform mixture.
  • You may add in 1 to 2 teaspoons of pickle juice if desired, it will give the dip a little extra zip. Store in an airtight container for at least 1 hour before serving. This is better when made the night before. Garnish with dill if desired.

¼ cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 tablespoons pickle juice, or more to taste

1 pinch freshly ground black pepper, or to taste

Steps:

  • Stir cream cheese in a bowl with a wooden spoon until smooth. Stir in dill pickles, onion, pickle juice, dill weed, salt, and pepper until evenly distributed. Refrigerate before serving, at least 1 hour.

1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed

  • In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and sour cream with an electric mixer until smooth. Mix in green onions, salt, dill and garlic. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to blend flavors. If the dip is too thick after chilling, stir in milk 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
