CRESCENT ROLL-UP SANDWICHES



Crescent Roll-Up Sandwiches image

This is a very easy recipe that I got from a neighbor--makes a great lunch with some soup or a salad! I think she said that she got the recipe from Pillsbury... which makes sense as this is a great way to use crescent rolls! I have made these as ham and swiss, turkey and swiss, roast beef and cheddar. There are so many options! Note: You can make these more of a meal sandwich (for the guys) if you use the large crescet rolls and double the meat and cheese for each sandwich. (So 12 slices of meat with 6 slices of cheese.)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls (8 rolls)
1/4 lb sliced meat (8 slices)
1/4 lb sliced cheese (4 slices cut in half diagonally)
2 tablespoons mustard (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Seperate the crescent roll dough into the 8 triangles.
  • Spread the mustard on the dough (if you are using it).
  • Put 1 piece of meat and 1 piece of cheese on each roll, folding the meat over the cheese to copy the crescent triangle.
  • Roll up the crescent roll, wide to narrow, and place on a cookie sheet with the point of the crescent on the bottom.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden.
  • Serve warm.

Audrey's Glazed Ham and Cheese Crescent Sandwiches image

Perfect hot out of the oven or served at room temperature. Ideal way to use leftover, spiral-sliced ham for an office party or tailgating.

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
¾ pound sliced ham
4 slices sharp white Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons salted butter
1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll crescent rolls into 4 rectangles and firmly close the seam between the triangles. Lay ham and Cheddar cheese evenly over 2 of the rectangles; lay remaining rectangles on top.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer until sugar melts and begins to resemble a warm syrup consistency. Divide glaze between both sandwiches and spread all over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden, 13 to 16 minutes. Let cool slightly, about 5 minutes; cut each rectangle into 4 triangles.

A healthful and delicious blend of spinach chicken and parmesan that even my 3 yr old LOVES. This is a spin on a recipe my sister gave me which used the mixture on crackers. Our family loves it!

1 (11 ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
7 ounces cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/8 cup bacon, crumbled
2 -3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 -3 dashes Tabasco sauce
1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 (2 7/8 ounce) can French-fried onions
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Combine the 1st 7 ingredients in a lightly sprayed baking dish, mix well to combine.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
  • When finished baking add the chicken, onions and parmesan cheese and mix well together (you can do this in the baking dish if it is large enough.
  • Lightly grease a pizza pan and unroll crescent rolls on a pan with points facing towards the outer ridge.
  • Fill with spinach mixture and fold the tops over, allowing the mixture to show through.
  • Sprinkle with a little more parmesan.
  • Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

4 thin slices cooked ham
4 thin slices Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. On ungreased cookie sheet, press or roll each to form 7x5-inch rectangle. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 4 rectangles. On ungreased cookie sheet, press or roll each to form 7x5-inch rectangle.
  • Place one ham slice and one cheese slice on each rectangle. For each rectangle, fold dough in half over filling; press edges firmly to seal.
  • Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
