These are chicken and Cheddar cheese flavored treats for man's best friend. Give a package of treats to a favorite dog. Include a cutter and a copy of the recipe.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. In a large bowl, stir together the rolled oats, margarine and boiling water. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Combine the cornmeal, sugar, and bouillon, stir into the oat mixture along with the egg and milk until smooth. fold in the shredded cheese. Gradually stir in the flour until a stiff but workable dough is formed. Knead the dough for a few turns. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a bone-shaped cookie cutter or cut into 1x3 inch rectangles. Place treats 1 inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Remove from the baking sheet to cool completely on wire racks.

DRIED CHICKEN WEINER TREATS
I got this recipe from the trainer of my dog's puppy obedience class. It's so easy and both my dog and cat love them. For some reason this seems to only work with chicken hot dogs. It does not work with beef.

- Cut hot dogs into quarters, lengthwise.
- Slice into approximately 1/2 inch pieces.
- Spread on a microwave safe plate.
- Microwave on high for 10 minutes.
- Hot dogs will become hard.
- Store for 1 day at room temperature, 1 week in fridge, or 3 months in freezer.

IT'S RAINING CAT AND DOG BALLS! (TREATS)
I combined a couple of favorite recipes to come up with this ground beef-based treat and my cats loved them. Sweet Pea skipped the cut up pieces and went straight for the balls. I managed to photograph her attacking them, then redirected her to the more appropriate-sized portion for delicate little girl kitties. ;)

- Mix dry ingredients together, then stir in honey and ground beef until well combined.
- Form 3/4-inch to 1-inch balls and bake on greased cookie sheet or silicon sheet at 350F for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through. They might cook fast, so check frequently.
