SIMPLE WHITE BREAD

Steps:
- In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add remaining water, dry milk, oil, sugar, salt, and 3 cups of flour; beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 3 minutes, or until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 to 8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease surface. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch the dough down, and divide in half. Shape into loaves. Place in two greased 9 X 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Grease the tops of the loaves, and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove bread from pans to cool on wire racks. Brush with melted butter or margarine.

- Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Medium cycle; press Start. When done, remove bread from pan and let cool on a wire rack.

Steps:
- Dissolve sugar and yeast in 1/4 cup warm water in a large bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining (warm) water, flour, and salt to yeast mixture; stir until a soft dough forms.
- Turn out onto a floured surface; knead dough until smooth and elastic (about 5 minutes).
- Place dough in a large bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to coat top.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°), free from drafts, 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Uncover dough, and punch down; cover and let rise 30 minutes.
- Uncover dough; punch down; cover and let rest 10 minutes.
- Roll into a 14 x 7-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
- Roll up tightly, starting with a short edge, pressing firmly to eliminate air pockets; pinch seam and ends to seal.
- Place roll, seam side down, in an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray; cover and let rise 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- While dough does its final rise, preheat oven to 425°F.
- Uncover dough; gently brush with egg.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350° (do not remove bread from oven); bake an additional 15 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
- Remove from pan; cool on a wire rack.

FELIX'S SIMPLE WHITE BREAD
This is a simple white bread, which I have after a long time trying different recipes I have ended creating my own, I feel it is simple, and yes I have used tips from other bakers, but I can assure you that this is trully mine, try it, you'll love it. Remember to follow my instructions, and you won't go wrong.

- Add flour into a bowl, then add the yeast on one side of the flour, and the salt on the other side, then add the oil and water, now you stir to mix all ingredients, and when all the ingredients are incorporated, you place the dough onto a lightly oiled hard surface and knead for approximately 10 minutes, then place the dough into a clean well oiled bowl and cover with cling film, and leave to double for about an hour, then place dough on hard surface and knead for 5 minutes and place in a bread tin and leave to rest for 30 minutes, now make a slash longwise on the top of the loaf with a sharp knife, then bake in a pre-heated oven at 200C for 20 to 25 minutes.
