BLISTERED GARLIC GREEN BEANS -- A MUST-HAVE FAMILY RECIPE!
These delicious garlic green beans are a must-have family recipe. The beans are blistered and dehydrated in the pan and bursting with garlic flavor!

Steps:
- Drain and rinse 2-3 times the green beans (you can do this right in the can, or use a colander).
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle in the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the green beans, then stir well to incorporate the minced garlic throughout the beans. Season the beans with the granulated garlic, onion powder, and kosher salt.
- Bring the beans up to a simmer, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Let the beans cook and become blistered and dehydrated, stirring every so often (once or twice in the cooking process). The process will take about 30 minutes.
GARLIC PARMESAN CANNED GREEN BEANS
Canned green beans are great for easy dinners, but they can be so much better. Infused with garlic & topped with shredded Parmesan- this simple short cut side dish is perfect for busy nights but tasty enough for fancier meals too!

- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in the olive oil, stirring the two together.
- Once hot, add the garlic to the skillet. Stirring frequently, let the garlic saute and brown lightly. This will only take a minute.
- Add the drained beans to the skillet. Season them with salt & pepper. Toss the beans a couple times while they cook.
- Cook the beans until tender & infused with flavor, tossing regularly- roughly 6-8 minutes.
- Remove the beans from heat.
- Serve the still hot beans on waiting plates, topped with Parmesan cheese.

- Wash and break green beans, then wash and rinse again.
- Put into large pot, cover with water and bring to boil. Let boil 5-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sterilize jars in boiling water bath and sterilize seals.
- Place 1 garlic clove into jars.
- Ladle green beans into hot jars, then fill jars with hot bean water, making sure to leave 1/4 inch headspace.
- Add 1/4 tsp salt to each pint.
- Wipe rims of jars, place hot seals on jars and tighten bands.
- Place in pressure canner and process 20 minutes at 10 lbs pressure.
