4 ounces Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar
½ cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
¾ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
⅜ teaspoon salt
½ cup Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Chips

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Chop the semi-sweet chocolate baking bar into 1-inch pieces.
  • In the top of a double boiler or in a heatproof bowl over barely simmering water, melt the chopped chocolate and butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
  • Stir the brown sugar and vanilla into the chocolate mixture. Add the eggs and mix well.
  • In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly fold the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture, mixing well until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a tester comes out clean. Remove from the oven and cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into 2-inch squares.

1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup Ghirardelli 100% Unsweetened Ground Cocoa
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 (3.5 ounce) Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark with Dark Chocolate bars, coarsely chopped, divided
¼ cup heavy cream

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, allowing about 1 inch of paper to extend over opposite sides of pan; lightly coat with cooking spray.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter and 1 1/3 cups chocolate baking chips on medium (50% power) for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and combined. Whisk in sugar until grainy. Whisk in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir flour mixture into chocolate mixture until just combined. Fold in half the peppermint bark. Pour mixture into the prepared pan; smooth the top.
  • Bake, rotating pan halfway through, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few crumbs, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes. Lift brownies from pan using parchment as handles and transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Set cooling rack on a rimmed baking sheet. Place remaining 1/3 cup chocolate baking chips in a medium glass bowl. Warm cream in a small, heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until steaming, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips. Let stand for 2 minutes; whisk until smooth.
  • Pour over brownies and spread to the edges with a small offset spatula. Sprinkle evenly with remaining peppermint bark. Before serving, let stand or refrigerate until glaze sets.

1-teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup of cold water
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon distilled vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 ounces Ghirardelli Caramel Chips
1 cup toasted coarsely chopped walnuts
3 ounces Ghirardelli 60% Chocolate Chips
10 marshmallows cut into smaller pieces

Steps:

  • 1. DirectionsPreheat the oven to 350F. 2. Position racks in the lower third of the oven. 3. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and whisk together thoroughly. 4. Mix the water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla until well combined. 5. Pour the liquid over the flour. 6. Mix just until smooth. 7. Add chocolate chips, half of the walnuts, and most of the caramel chips (save some for topping), and stir to incorporate. 8. Scrape the batter onto the lined pan and spread it evenly. Suggested size pan: 8 X 8. 9. Distribute the marshmallows all over the brownie and poke them into the batter, leaving the tips exposed. 10. Sprinkle the remaining caramel chips around the marshmallows. 11. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the batter no longer jiggles when you tap the pan. 12. Cool on a rack completely before cutting into squares. May be kept in airtight container for up to 3 days.

1 cup unsalted butter ((2 sticks))
½ cup Ghirardelli Bittersweet 60% Cacao Baking Chips
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup Ghirardelli 100% Cocoa Powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
9 Ghirardelli Chocolate Caramel Squares (unwrapped )

Steps:

  • Be sure your oven is preheat to 350 degrees F. and adjusted to the center rack position. Line a 9 x 9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a 2-quart sauce pan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sugar, and chocolate chips. Whisk until combined, and thick.
  • Transfer chocolate mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, stirring between each, and then mix in the extract.
  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Using a wooden spoon, mix until just combined. You should see no more flour streaks.
  • Pour batter into parchment-lined pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. These will look a little under baked, but they are just fudgy and will form as they cool.
  • Cool brownies for 15 minutes before adding Ghirardelli Chocolate Caramel Squares. Allow brownies to full cool for an additional 45 minutes before removing them from the pan and cutting.

2 cups walnut or pecan pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F, with a rack in the lower third of the oven. Line a n 8-inch metal baking pan across the bottom and up two opposite sides with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together almond flour and rice flour; set aside.
  • Place chocolate, butter and salt in the top of a large double boiler over barely simmering water. Stir frequently until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the bowl and let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in the sugar and vanilla. Stir in the eggs one at a time.
