GLUTEN FREE APPLE CRISP RECIPE (VEGAN APPLE CRISP)
Gluten-Free Apple Crisp recipe chock-full of warm gooey apples and topped with an easy, quick-to-make gluten-free crust. Your guests will never know it is gluten-free, vegan and even lower-sugar!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.
- In a food processor, pulse together snickerdoodle cookies and butter. Press into 9inch pie pan. Set Aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together apples, cornstarch, sugar (optional), cinnamon, nutmeg. Pour into pie pan.
- In food processor, pulse together oats, flour, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Crumble over apples.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. Keep an eye on the crust, if it starts to turn dark brown, cover with aluminum foil.
- Best when served warm.

- Sprinkle the topping evenly onto the apples until no more left. Don't spread or pack the topping using a spatula or it will be more like a cobbler recipe and the topping won't create crunchy cookie crumble pieces.
