Gluten Free Self-Rising Flour recipe using homemade flour blend or store-bought GF flour.

1 cup Gluten Free Flour Blend
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 tsp baking binder** (**if your blend does not contain it)

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients in a food processor or mixer for at least ten minutes.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Self-Rising Flour, Gluten-Free
1 cup Jeanne's Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour mix (or mix of your choice)
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt

Steps:

  • Mix together and use as needed. Can be doubled, tripled, etc. This mixture can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container in a cool, dark place or in the fridge. It will expire when the baking powder expires, so you might want to mark the expiration date found on the baking powder container onto your self-rising flour container.

Steps:

  • Combine teaspoon of cream tartar and 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda.
  • Mix 1 cup of gluten free plain flour and sift into a container to ensure that the cream of tartar and bicarob soda is mixed through the flour.
  • Use as directed in gluten free recipes which requires self rising flour.
