- Pour sugar onto a small plate. Wet the rim of a martini glass with cold water; dip rim in the sugar to coat.
- Fill cocktail shaker with ice; pour in grapefruit juice, vodka, and triple sec. Cover shaker with lid and shake. Strain and pour mixture into prepared martini glass.

TEQUILA GRAPEFRUIT MARTINI
Steps:
- Combine the tequila, grapefruit juice, vermouth, bitters and orange juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
- Dip the rims of martini or coupe glasses in grapefruit juice and then in sanding sugar. Strain the cocktail into the glasses and garnish with candied grapefruit rind. Serve immediately.
GRAPEFRUIT MARGARITA MARTINI
I always make my cocktails with fresh pressed juice. I cannot afford any extra empty calories from store bought mixers, who can!! I have a commercial grade juicer so you may need to add extra juice if your hand squeezing since my juicer produces a lot of juice! - I use a Hamilton Beach Juicer- The one with the Lever that you use by hand-its very easy and I love the consistency of the juice.
- Cut a fresh pink ( florida) grapefruit in half.
- Juice each half, using the lever juicer, into a glass.
- Put ice cubes into your favorite martini shaker.
- pour 3 oz of good quality vodka ( stoli, grey goose, belvedere, Imperial are some great choice brands).
- Pour juice over vodka/ice cubes.
- shake vigorously.
- pour into freezer chilled martini glass (large size).
- garnish with marichino cherry.
