14 oz (400 g) Pork Kiełbasa Sausage
1 tbsp Mustard

Steps:

  • Heat up the grill. If it's electric/gas, set it on medium/high.
  • (Optional step) Place kiełbasa on the cutting board and slit the casing on both sides.
  • Grill kiełbasa, turning halfway through, until lightly charred. This can take anything from 5 up to 10 minutes.
  • Serve with bread and a dip of your choice.

Polish sausage and potatoes, flavored with onion and fresh rosemary, cooked in foil. You can also bake the packets in the oven.

1 lb lean kielbasa, cut in 2 inch thick slices
2 large red potatoes, chopped into 1 inch pieces
1 medium yellow onion, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, roughly chopped
2 sheets heavy duty aluminum foil, 18 x 16 inches

Steps:

  • Preheat barbecue grill.
  • Place kielbasa, potatoes and onion on a double layer of foil and drizzle with oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper and rosemary and toss.
  • Fold edges of foil together to seal packet.
  • Cover and grill 30 minutes or until veggies are tender.

I like to throw together a just-as-easy meal-in-a-packet, like these grilled kielbasa dinner packets. Everything's in there. Just assemble (you can put them together the night before) and toss onto a grill over medium heat until the vegetables are tender.

1 pound kielbasa (cut into 1/2" - 1" thick slices)
4 medium red potatoes (chopped into 1" pieces)
1 medium yellow onion (sliced)
1 large green bell pepper (chopped (optional))
1 tablespoon olive oil
kosher salt
ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (roughly chopped (or use 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed))
Heavy duty aluminum foil

Steps:

  • Fire up your grill for medium-heat (350 F) grilling.
  • Tear off a large sheet of foil.
  • Place sausage, potatoes, bell pepper (if using) and onion in center of foil.
  • Drizzle with oi and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and rosemary.
  • Fold up the edges of the packet and seal.
  • Place onto grill and cook 30 minutes or so until the potatoes are tender.
  • Be careful opening the packets as hot steam will get trapped inside.

1 medium green pepper
1 medium sweet red pepper
1 medium sweet yellow pepper
1 package (14 ounces) smoked turkey kielbasa, sliced
2 large potatoes, cut into wedges
1 medium onion, chopped
4 teaspoons lemon juice
4 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Lemon wedges, optional

Steps:

  • Cut peppers into 1-in. pieces; place in a large bowl. Toss with the next 7 ingredients. Divide mixture among 4 double thicknesses of heavy-duty foil (about 18x12 in.). Fold foil around mixture, sealing tightly., Grill, covered, over medium heat until potatoes are tender, 30-35 minutes. Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape. If desired, serve with lemon wedges.
