- place a handful of Frito's in bowl, cover with Chili about two tablespoons, small handful of cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, and onion, add a spoonful of sour cream.

- Cover bottom of 9 x 13 pan with a layer of Fritos; sprinkle with onion, then cheese.
- Mix chili and cheese soup pour heated chili on top of that.
- Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top of chili. (need at least 3 layers).
- Bake at 350 until cheese is melted. Omit cheese soup if a drier casserole is preferred. (can use a deep baking dish instead of pan for more layers).
