- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Return pasta to pot.
- Stir in butter, lemon zest, juice, and herbs; season with salt and pepper. Add some of the reserved pasta water to adjust consistency, if needed. Serve.

BURGER SPAGHETTI

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta. In a food processor, pulse 2 buns into coarse crumbs. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the crumbs and toast 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl. Wipe out the skillet.
- Tear up the remaining bun; soak in a large bowl with the milk, 5 minutes. Drain, squeezing the excess milk from the bread. Combine the soaked bread, half of the toasted crumbs, the ground beef, onion, chopped pickles, 2 tablespoons ketchup, the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste in the bowl and mix by hand.
- Divide the meat mixture into 24 pieces. Press a cheese cube into the center of each and shape into meatballs around the cheese.
- Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil in the same skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet; bake until just cooked through, about 5 minutes. Reserve the skillet.
- Cook the pasta as the label directs. Meanwhile, add the garlic to the reserved skillet; cook over medium heat until golden, about 30 seconds. Add the tomato paste and the remaining 2 tablespoons ketchup; cook 1 minute, then stir in 1 cup pasta cooking water until smooth. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Drain the pasta, add to the skillet and toss to coat. Divide the pasta among bowls and top with the remaining toasted breadcrumbs, the meatballs, grated cheddar, lettuce and tomato. Serve with pickle slices on the side.

- Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender, stirring occasionally. Drain, reserving 1 cup cooking liquid. Return pasta to pot. Add 1/4 cup reserved cooking liquid, cheese, and butter. Toss over medium heat until cheese melts and sauce coats pasta, adding more reserved cooking liquid if dry, about 3 minutes. Season generously with salt and pepper. Transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with Parmesan shavings, if desired, and serve.

Steps:
- Cook linguine according to package directions and then drain.
- Melt butter in large Pyrex measuring cup and blend in remaining ingredients except cheese.
- Place pasta and butter back into saucepan used to cook the pasta in.
- Cook pasta for two minutes until reheated; stir constantly.
- Put cooked pasta into serving bowl topped with Parmesan cheese.

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a generous amount of salt, then add pasta. Cook until al dente.
- Just before pasta is done, heat oil in a large skillet. Add pepperoncini and half of the garlic; toss to heat through.
- Reserve 1 cup of pasta-cooking water, then drain pasta.
- Add pasta to skillet and stir. Add just enough reserved pasta water to moisten; stir in garlic and herbs. Stir in cheese, then season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with more olive oil and shaved Parmesan, if desired.

SPAGHETTI WITH HERB SAUCE
Posted for Zaar World Tour 2005. Made this last night for dinner and was extremely pleased with the results. Very low fat, but I doubt anyone will notice. Herbs and sweet vegetables were wonderful. I used thyme instead of tarragon as I didn't have any tarragon on hand. Very easy to make. Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan, if desired. From a website featuring Australian recipes. It called for 20 cloves of garlic, but I figured that was a typo.

- Saute garlic in olive oil in large sauce pan over medium heat for 3 minutes.
- Add broth and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, start boiling water for pasta, cook according to instructions on package and drain.
- Add tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and herbs to broth and simmer for 10 minutes more. Pour sauce over pasta and serve.
