- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until well blended.
- Spoon into Mason jars or a glass container.
- Use 3 Tablespoons hot cocoa mix to 1 cup hot water or milk.
- If you want a peppermint hot cocoa, add 1 teaspoon mint extract (or to taste) to hot chocolate. Top with optional whipped cream and/or marshmallows, or add a splash of heavy cream to your mug.

HOT COCOA MIX
I never have understood why most hot cocoa mixes call for store-bought chocolate drink mix as an ingredient. That just doesn't make sense to me. This verson is easier, cheaper, and in my opinion tastes better. Prep time does not include blending. The cook time is the time it takes to heat the water and stir in the cocoa. I have no idea on the serving size, so I gave it a wild guess.

- In a large bowl, combine powdered milk, chocolate pudding mix, chocolate drink mix powder, creamer, confectioners' sugar, and cocoa. Divide the mixture between two 1 quart jars. Seal, and decorate as desired. These can be stored in a dry area for up to 3 months.
- Attach a tag with the following instructions: Hot Cocoa: Dissolve 1/3 cup cocoa mix in 1 cup boiling water.
