This is a good general barbeque rub! Sprinkle or rub onto ribs, tri-tips, steaks, chicken or whatever meat you desire! Let rubbed meat sit at least an hour before cooking.

1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 tablespoons ground paprika
½ teaspoon dried oregano

Steps:

In a small, nonporous bowl, combine the garlic powder, ground black pepper, salt, mustard powder, chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, paprika and oregano. Mix well and apply to meat.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to sit for 10 minutes until yeast is bubbly.
Add salt and 1 1/2 cups of flour; mix well with the dough hook. Gradually add more of the remaining flour until dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl and it barely sticks to your finger.
Cover and allow to rise for 45 minutes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Remove from bowl and place on a surface sprayed with cooking spray. Roll into a 9 x 13 inch rectangle and cut into 12 strips using a pizza cutter.

HOMEMADE GARLIC BREAD SEASONING - OUR BEST BITES

2019-07-18 Sprinkle on top of breadsticks. Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons seasoning with 1/2 cup of softened real butter and spread on a loaf of French bread (cut in 1/2 lengthwise). Wrap in foil and bake at 375 until butter is melted. If you want, you could also pop it open-faced under the broiler for a few minutes so it gets brownish and crispy.
