4 cups Greek yogurt
3 large ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
1 cup white sugar
¾ cup chopped walnuts
¾ cup mini chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Combine Greek yogurt, frozen bananas, and sugar in a blender; blend until smooth.
  • Pour yogurt mixture into an ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions until yogurt is the texture of soft-serve ice cream, about 15 minutes. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.

Here's what you need: frozen strawberry, bananas, greek yogurt

3 cups frozen strawberry
2 bananas, frozen, sliced
½ cup greek yogurt

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients into a food processor or high-speed blender, process until consistently pink and completely smooth.
  • Pour into a pan and smooth into an even layer.
  • Freeze for 2 hours, or until frozen but still a little soft for scooping. (If freezing overnight, cover with a lid or plastic wrap, but let it sit out at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes before scooping).
  • Scoop into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.
  • Enjoy!

My dh has high cholesterol and I'm trying to lose a bit of weight, so I modified several different recipes and added some ingredients to make it lower in fat, cholesterol, calories and sugar.

2 cups bananas, very ripe
3/4 cup fat free sour cream
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Smart Balance butter spread
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons applesauce (no sugar added)
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Steps:

  • Mash 4-6 bananas (depending on size) to make ~ 2Cups. I mash a bunch and freeze in baggies.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix, being sure to mix the butter evenly.
  • Pour into 6 mini loaves or 2 regular size loaves. These will rise a bit so allow room.
  • Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes for mini loaves or muffins, 50-60 minutes for regular size loaves.

1/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 teaspoon stevia powder

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Chill in refrigerator for a few hours.
  • Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
  • Place in airtight containers and freeze to desired consistency!
  • NOTE: To enjoy this throughout the week, simply separate it into serving size airtight serving containers and freeze. Pull them out of the freezer to soften about 30 minutes before you are ready to serve, and enjoy!

3 bananas, peeled
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into plastic freezer jars (the new kind by Ball jars for jelly making, they are perfect for this single serving size lidded jar). Freeze 3-4 hours for semi hard serve or overnight for firm freeze. Freezing hours are included under the cooking time in this format.
