Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
- Dump the corn, wheat and rice cereal into a large mixing bowl. Add the pretzel sticks and nuts.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter, Worcestershire, seasoned salt, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, hot sauce and garlic and microwave until the butter is melted. Stir together and toss into the cereal mixture, stirring as you go.
- Transfer the mixture to 1 or 2 baking sheets and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool and store in an airtight container.
- Grab a handful every 40 minutes. Eat. Spoil your appetite.
MY MICROWAVABLE VERSION OF CHEX PARTY MIX
I am addicted to this stuff! It's so much quicker to make in the microwave. And the kitchen doesn't get heated up if you're making it in the summer. I use store brand corn, rice and wheat squares instead of the Chex brand. Just as good, and a lot less expensive.

- Mix margarine, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt together in a large bowl until well combined. Add cereal squares, cashews, and pretzels; mix well.
- Microwave on High for 2 minutes. Mix well, then microwave for 2 more minutes. Mix again, and microwave for 1 more minute.
- Remove from the microwave and spread party mix on paper towels to cool before serving.

HOW TO MAKE MICROWAVE CHEX MIX
Steps:
- Combine all the cereal, pretzels, nuts, etc. into a big microwave-safe bowl. I like to use a large glass mixing bowl.
- Mix the cereal all up.
- In a smaller microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
- Add all the additional seasonings together and whisk until it's completely mixed.
- Pour the seasoning mixture over the cereal mixture and toss it until it's well coated.
- Microwave for 2 minutes on HIGH.
- Let it sit for 1 minute in the microwave and then give it a stir.
- Microwave on HIGH for another 2 minutes, then let it sit for 10 minutes in the microwave with the door closed.
- Remove it from the microwave and give it a stir.
- Eat immediately or transfer to a covered container.
