My Mommas Pear Salad Recipes
PEAR SALAD
Mom would put this little salad together at least once a week. It's a very simple recipe, that's big on flavor. This is one of those recipes that have no measurements; you just make it by the salad bowl.

Steps:
- Place some lettuce in each salad bowl, on top of lettuce place 1 to 2 pear halves.
- Place a dollop of mayonnaise on pears, sprinkle with cheese, and top with a cherry.

MAMA'S PEA SALAD
Mama made this salad a family tradition during the holidays, and we just loved its fresh taste. Now I have the responsibility to make it and I haven't changed a thing. It just reminds me of home. Now my grown children expect it at our holidays together and it reminds them of their Gran. Enjoy!

- Combine 1 c.
- juice from pears and pkg.
- jello.
- Heat on stove till boiling.
- Chill until partially set (1/2-1 hour) Take pears and cream cheese and blend in blender till smooth (no chunks).
- Take out of blender and add jello mixture and cool whip.
- Blend w/a spoon.
- Keep in refrigerator until set, about 3 hours.
