CLASSIC CHEDDAR CHEESEBALL
The classic Cheddar Cheese Ball is the snack everyone wants on their table for get-togethers and game nights.

Steps:
- Place the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth, about 1 minute. Scrape the sides of the bowl and sprinkle garlic powder over the cream cheese. Add the Worcestershire sauce. Mix again until well combined, about 1 minute.
- Add the cheese and mix again. Spread plastic wrap on the counter and scoop the cheese mixture onto it. Form into a ball with the spatula.
- Place the chopped nuts on a small plate. Gently roll the cheeseball in the nuts to coat it completely. Wrap the finished cheese ball in plastic wrap until ready to serve.
- Remove from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers and fresh vegetables.

MAMA'S CHEESE BALL RECIPE
No Southern appetizer table is complete without a cheese ball. Perfectly paired with crackers or veggies, a traditional cheese ball with Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and a kick of Worcestershire sauce is an easy crowd-pleaser. This recipe comes to us from the Mama of Charlie Muncaster, half of country music duo Muscadine Bloodline. This cheese ball is special to Charlie because of the nostalgia associated with it: "Mom and I used to make this for neighborhood parties together. I always enjoyed slicing and dicing with my mother. She always made me do it because she was terrible with a knife!"

Steps:
- Combine cheese, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and stir/beat until well blended. Stir in 1 cup pecans and 1/2 cup parsley.
- Shape into 1 large ball or 2 smaller balls. Roll cheese ball in leftover cup of chopped or ground pecans. Wrap cheese ball in wax paper or plastic wrap, and then in foil. Refrigerate overnight. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

My mother has been making this since I was a kid (About 10 years) We eat it on crackers. I Have to make alot for the kids. Its a nice snack item to keep around.

- In a medium saucepan, bring butter, milk, minced garlic, and minced onion to a low boil, stirring frequently. Dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon water and whisk into milk mixture. Continue stirring vigorously until desired thickness.n
- When milk mixture is thick enough, tear cheese slices into pieces and slowly stir them into the sauce, melting gradually, until desired cheesiness. Serve over your favorite pasta, vegetable, or side dish.n
