COPYCAT O'CHARLEY'S CARAMEL PIE

1 large graham cracker pie crust
2 cans sweetened consensed milk
1 small container Cool Whip
1 small pkg. chopped pecans
1 package mini chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Peel paper from cans of sweetened condensed milk. Place cans on their sides in a large pot and cover completely in cold water. Slowly bring pot to rolling boil and boil for 3 hours making sure to turn cans every 30 minutes or so. At the end of 3 hrs allow cans to cool for 1 hr. (at least - this part is VERY important). Open cans of Milk and spread into pie pan. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips all over the top. Refrigerate for 8 hrs. DELICIOUS. This can be dangerous so be sure you never leave cans boiling on the stove without checking them!

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • In a large pot, place the can of sweetened condensed milk with the label taken off, in the pot and cover with water. Cook on high until water comes to a boil, then turn on medium/high for 4 hours, only adding water to keep the can covered.
  • Carefully open can and pour into pie shell. Cool pie in refrigerator. When completely cooled, top with frozen whipped topping. Serve.

4 ounces whipped topping
chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook sweetened condensed milk in a 1 qt slow cooker (dip size) for 6-7 hours or until mixture is the color of peanut butter, stirring with a wire whisk every 30 minutes.
  • Pour into pie crust.
  • Chill.
  • Top with cool whip.
  • If using nuts, sprinkle over top of cool whip.
  • Enjoy!

3 -13.4 ounce cans dulce de leche
6 ounces Whipped Cream (or Cool Whip)
mini chocolate chips (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Pour all three of the cans of dulce de leche into graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
  • Add the whipped cream in dollops over the top however you want to decorate it.
  • Sprinkle chopped chocolate chips over the whipped cream. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
