Orange Summer Cooler Recipes

SUMMER COOLERS

Steps:

• Add the watermelon, strawberries, raspberries, sugar and lime juice to a blender and blend to a fine puree. Divide the mixture among eight 8-ounce freezer-safe pots/containers with plastic lids. Freeze for 4 hours to rock solid, 3 hours if you want them a little slushy.

ORANGE COOLER

Steps:

• In a half-gallon pitcher, combine orange juice concentrate, lemon juice and sugar. Stir in enough water to make 1/2 gallon.

REFRESHING ORANGE COOLER

Steps:

• In a half gallon pitcher, combine all ingredients. Add enough water to make 1/2 gallon. Mix well, allowing sugar to dissolve. Chill until desired temperature.

SUMMER COOLER

Steps:

• 1. In large bowl place fruit. Set aside.2. In small saucepan stir together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in apple juice. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over fruit. Gently stir until fruit is coated. Spoon into crusts.3. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Garnish as desired. Store in refrigerator.

SUMMER FRUIT COOLER

Steps:

• Pour 3 cups grapefruit juice into two ice cube trays; freeze until set., In a large pitcher, combine the pineapple, orange and cranberry juices; stir in remaining grapefruit juice. Chill until serving., Slowly stir in soda; add the grapefruit ice cubes. Garnish with orange slices and mint.

Steps:

• In a blender, blend the orange juice, water, orange sherbet, vanilla, confectioners' sugar, and ice until smooth.

ORANGE COOLER

• In a stainless steel or enameled saucepan, combine orange rind, sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes. Let the syrup cool and strain into a large bowl. Stir in bourbon, orange juice and lemon juice. Chill until cold. Transfer to a punch bowl set in a hollowed-out block of ice. Stir in champagne. Garnish the punch with cherries and orange slices.
