Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
  • Slice pita bread into eighths and spread chips out on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl combine olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and parsley, and brush onto both sides of the chips.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Enjoy!

4 (6 inch) whole wheat pita bread
olive oil flavored cooking spray
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Spray each pita with olive oil spray.
  • Combine MrsDash Italian Medley and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
  • Sprinkle evenly over pita rounds and cut each into 6 triangles.

1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • Brush one side of each piece pita pocket with olive oil. Sprinkle the garlic powder, salt, and garlic salt over the pita pockets. Slice each pocket into 4 even triangles.

1 1/4 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Cut each pita bread horizontally in half, forming 2 pita disks. Brush disks with olive oil. Sprinkle disks with Parmesan cheese, then pepper. Cut each disk into 6 wedges. Arrange pita wedges in single layer on large baking sheets.
  • Bake until pita wedges are golden and just crisp, about 12 minutes. (Can be prepared 3 days ahead. Cool completely. Store airtight at room temperature. Rewarm in 325°F oven about 5 minutes.)

  • Slice each pita in half to divide it into two flat disks. If that is too tedious, stack six of rounds, and simply cut off the edges; then repeat three times. Next, cut each disk into quarters, yielding 8 sections from each pita.
  • Put the sections onto baking sheets, and bake them for 7 or 8 minutes, until toasted. Cool, then store in a tightly tied plastic bag until you are ready to use them.

These are a carb free chip that I found while looking for recipes for a party for a friend with special diet needs. I made a batch of these to see how they tasted and my family ate them all up. So I made a second batch for the party.

12 -24 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spray cookie sheet and with a paper towel and wipe most off, leaving only a very thin film.
  • Place 1-2 TBSP grated cheese on cookie sheet and pat down to a circle.
  • Place chips 2" apart.
  • Bake 4-5 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  • Remove from oven when edges just barely start to brown.
  • Cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes.
  • These will stay fresh for days in plastic bags.
