I just saw this recipe on her show, and had to try it out! It is delicious, refreshing, and brightens up any salad. Simple ingredients that you always have on hand. No need to buy premade bottled dressing when you can make it for cheap at home, and tastes much better!!!

Ingredients

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil or 1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons sugar
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
kosher salt
fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

In a glass jar with a tight lid, combine lemon juice, oil, sugar, garlic, and Dijon mustard.
Season with salt and pepper.
Shake well and drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving.

Another recipe from her cooking show. I found it made more dressing than I had salad for and it was a little on the sweet side so next time I'll add more salad ingredients and cut down on the honey, and I suppose you could even reserve the juice from the can of mandarin oranges and use that for the orange juice in the dressing.

1 green apple
1 ripe avocado
1 banana
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup nuts, chopped, your choice
1 teaspoon lemon juice (to taste)
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup canola oil
1/3 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Steps:

Chop apple, avocado, and banana and mix together in a bowl with the drained mandarin oranges, raisins, and chopped nuts.
Thorougly mix all dressing ingredients together in a bowl.
Pour dressing over fruit mixture, stir, and serve.

1 apple, cored and diced
1 banana, sliced
1 avocado, peeled and sliced
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or 1/4 cup pecans

Steps:

For the dressing, combine the honey, orange juice, oil, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, poppy seeds, salt, and mustard in a jar with a tight lid; cover and shake well.
Toss the apple, banana, and avocado with juice from 1 lemon to prevent the fruit from turning brown.
Combine the fruit, raisins, and nuts in a glass bowl.
Add the dressing and stir gently.
Serve on red leaf lettuce.
