BUTTERSCOTCH PEANUT TREATS

Steps:

• In a large heavy saucepan, cook and stir the corn syrup and butter until butter is melted. Stir in pudding mix until blended. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and stir 1 minute longer., Remove from the heat. Cool for 1 minute, stirring several times. stir in the cornflakes and peanuts until evenly coated. , Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets; cool.

PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter and malted milk in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30-second increments, stirring, until smooth. Put the cereal in a large bowl, add the melted chocolate mixture and stir until evenly coated. Allow the cereal to cool slightly, and then transfer to a large brown paper bag or re-sealable plastic bag. Add the confectioners' sugar, bananas and butterscotch chips. Tightly close or seal the bag and toss to coat well. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

PEANUT BUTTER HAYSTACKS

Steps:

• Melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter on top of a double boiler, or in a microwave. Blend together.
• Stir peanuts and noodles gently into the melted peanut butter mixture.
• Drop dough by forkfuls onto waxed paper. Cool until set.

BUTTERSCOTCH NIBBLES

Steps:

• Melt together the butter, peanut butter, and butterscotch chips.
• Put cereal in a very large bowl.
• When butterscotch mixture is smooth and melted, remove from heat and add vanilla.
• Pour this over the cereal.
• Working QUICKLY (to keep the mixture warm enough to melt your chocolate chips at the end), stir gently until all cereal is coated.
• Pour onto a long length of waxed paper.
• Spread out the mixture and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
• DO NOT STIR!
• When mixture is completely cool, break up and store in an airtight container.

Steps:

• In a microwave, heat chips and shortening, uncovered, at 50% power for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until melted. Stir until smooth. Add peanuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes. Yield: 2-1/4 pounds (3-1/2 to 4 dozen).

PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE SNACK MIX RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• In a medium bowl, mix together the chocolate and peanut butter. Melt in microwave for 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth.
• Place the rice cereal in large bowl. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and stir to coat.
• In a large plastic bag, add the powdered sugar and cereal. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is well coated.
• Add the peanut butter chocolate candy and shake to incorporate.

CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER CEREAL PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzels, peanut butter candies and peanuts; set aside.
• In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate and butter uncovered on High about 1 minute, stirring once, until melted and chocolate can be stirred smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, toss half of the cereal mixture with 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar until evenly coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Repeat with remaining cereal mixture and remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

Steps:

• 1. Combine cereal, pecans and pretzels in lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan set aside.2. In 2-quart saucepan, cook butterscotch morsels, corn syrup and margarine over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture begins to boil. Pour over cereal mixture, tossing gently to coat cereal.3. Bake in 300°F oven about 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread hot mixture on large piece of foil. Cool, stirring constantly occasionally. Store in airtight container.
