I know, I know. This sounds like a silly recipe for someone who doesn't know anything about cooking or food. BUT I got this recipe from a friend. She was serving it at an open house and everyone LOVED them and wanted more. Its just too easy.

Ingredients

1 jar(s) (6 ounces) yellow mustard
1 jar(s) (10 ounces) currant jelly
2 lb good quality hot dogs

Steps:

1. Mix together mustard and jelly. Heat gradually while stirring to mix completely.
2. Cook hot dogs in water. Slice hot dogs into 4-6 pieces each. Add hot dog pieces to sauce and cook on warm for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot as an appetizer.

10 hot dogs
10 KING'S HAWAIIAN Hot Dog Buns
6 sweet peppers assorted colors
1 cup of 1/2 inch cubed grilled mango
1/2 of a grilled onion cubed into 1/2 inch pieces
1/4 of a fresh grilled pineapple cubed into 1/2 inch pieces
1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
2 teaspoons green onions
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

Cut all fruit and vegetables into large pieces and lightly grill with salt and pepper.
Cut grilled items into 1/2 inch cubes and add to a large bowl.
Mix all ingredients in Hawaiian Salsa recipe in a bowl.
Toast KING'S HAWAIIAN Hot Dog Buns and set aside.
Grill hot dogs and build with salsa topping last.

1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (20 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Hot cooked rice

Steps:

In a large skillet, cook the sausage, onion and green pepper until the vegetables are tender., Add the tomatoes, broth, brown sugar, garlic powder and pepper. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Stir pineapple into sausage mixture. Bring to a boil; cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes., Combine cornstarch and reserved pineapple juice until smooth; gradually add to sausage mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with rice.

A lady used to bring this to a church covered dish supper. Every time it was gone by the first time people went through. All the kids loved it, especially my granddaughter. So, I got the recipe from her and was amazed how easy it was. Only three ingredients. You could use this for tiny meatballs too along with the hot dogs.

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) jar red currant jelly
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1 -1 1/2 lb hot dog (you might be able to use 2 pounds)

Steps:

In a saucepan, put the jelly and mustard on a low heat till it is melted and mixed well.
Cook the hot dogs and if using regular size ones--slice into pieces and add to the mixture; if using mini hot dog cook a few minutes and use whole.
Put into a crockpot till ready.
