Strawberry Daiquiri image

This Strawberry Daiquiri uses fresh strawberries and frozen strawberries instead of the usual crushed ice cubes. This is the perfect cocktail to welcome spring and the first strawberries of the garden season!

4-5 medium frozen strawberries
4 medium fresh strawberries
1-2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 ounces white rum

Steps:

  • Add everything to a blender and blend.
  • Pour into hurricane style glass.
  • Garnish with lime and strawberry.

Refreshingly simple, quick, and easy strawberry daiquiri recipe using rum or vodka - frozen strawberry daiquiri or shaken strawberry daiquiri

Number Of Ingredients 5

4-6 cubes Ice (crushed ice is preferred) (use less ice for thinner consistency)
5 oz LAVA Premium Strawberry Cocktail Mix
2.5 oz White Rum (Light) or Vodka
0.5 tbsp Maple Syrup or Sugar (optional) (adjust to desired sweetness)
0.5 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice (optional) (adjust to desired tartness )

Steps:

  • For a frozen strawberry daiquiri, add everything but the ice into a blender.
  • Blend the ingredients together first to mix them well.
  • Add in the ice (crushed ice preferred) and blend until desired consistency.
  • If consistency is too thick add more strawberry mix. If too thin, add more ice.
  • For a shaken strawberry daiquiri, add ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake vigorously, strain, and serve.

½ cup white sugar
4 ounces frozen strawberries
⅛ cup lime juice
½ cup lemon juice
¾ cup rum
¼ cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine ice, sugar and strawberries. Pour in lime juice, lemon juice, rum and lemon-lime soda. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
